2 2 COURSE OBJECTIVES: Welcome to BIT 556, Virtual Business. According Minot State Graduate catalog the course: Exploration of the many nuances (employee, management, hardware/software, etc) involved in the management and operation of the virtual business. All of these areas are involved in the operation and, of course, management of a virtual business. Our course extends for only 8 weeks so we have a busy schedule ahead of us. Learner Outcomes: 1. 5 5 Format of the research Paper to receive full marks You research paper may be focused on any of the above mentioned topic. Your paper must be about 10 pages long single space, font 12. Having the following sections: -Title of your research paper + your name/names -Abstract -Introduction -Concept development -Conclusion -References (at least 7 cited references), APA style Submit it as Word Document to my MSU account before deadline. The research paper is done as group or ly. Please make sure you get a confirmation from me when you submit your research paper. Format of cases for submission: Cover page: Name, Case #, chapter #, Case title Introduction (Summary of case) State Problems ( according to your understanding, create questions) Answers to questions/problems (according to your understanding from the case) Conclusions Max 4 pages, including cover page -Not respecting the above format will cause losing points. -Cases must be submitted before deadline to digital drop box on WebCT Drop Box). Zero grade for submission after deadline. LATE PENALTIES: 1. Late written assignments will not be accepted. Zero grade. ATTENDANCE: Academic Honesty: 1. Students will login in course regularly. If attendance is impossible, study the course syllabus for following the course assignments. Students are responsible for following the materials regarding missing any case. The college experience is founded on the concepts of honesty and integrity. Dishonesty, cheating, plagiarism, or knowingly furnishing false information college is regarded as particularly serious offenses. Cases of dishonesty will be handled by levying certain penalties. However, in flagrant cases, the penalty may be dismissal from the college after proper due process proceedings.
