3 Digital Interactive Presentations Deliverables Standard Amway Digital Interactive Presentations Deliverables Standard When producing digital interactive presentations for local or global use, it is crucial to request that the vendor deliver the native digital interactive presentation files in addition to the end use file format. Digital Interactive Presentations - What to get from your vendor Deliverables Notes Description End-Use File (Asset Channel Rendition) Final version for distribution Complete program, with localized elements, in its end use format Native Computer Files (Approved Source Asset) Files needed for editing and localization of the digital interactive presentation Computer files used by the program that created the digital interactive presentation Project Backup (Source Asset Work Products) All project files required to reassemble or repurpose the presentation These might include files from: Flash, 3ds Max, Photoshop, AfterEffects, & other programs. Documentation Metadata forms, Contracts, Logs, etc. Physical Container Format Options Description Hard Drive (HDD), 1 Project Master (contains: End-Use File, Native Computer Files, Project Backup, & Documentation) Container File Layout (How to layout the files on the containers) Folder Structure Description Project / Title #1 Deliverables for Project / Title #1 (Project Master) Project / Title #2 Deliverables for Project / Title #2 (Project Master) Digital Interactive Presentations Deliverables Standard November 2014
4 Photograph and Artwork Deliverables Standard Amway Photograph & Artwork Deliverables Standard PHOTOGRAPH/ARTWORK DELIVERABLES - What to get from your vendor Deliverables Notes Description Raw Images (Camera Originals) RGB Color The original camera output files. 2 sizes of photo selects must be delivered: Poster size (when required) Sized at a minimum of 6,000 pixels in the lesser dimension Minimum 20 x 30 inches at 300 DPI NOTE: (Please confirm the size for poster images with the Amway Project Lead before delivery.) A disc of the selected approved images with BrandNextstyle filenames. Special Note: Do not add the filename to the image itself sometimes even standard filenames will need to be changed, and the images will no longer match. Photo Selects (Photoshop) A4 size Sized at a minimum of 2,500 pixels in the lesser dimension Minimum 8.5 x 11 inches at 300 dpi All Photo selects must be: 8-bit Adobe RGB Color Photoshop (PSD) files preferred Clipping paths and layers preserved For model images, models must be on a separate layer than the background, whenever possible. Large Format Digital Print Files (For Amway Experience Centers) (If Requested) Files need to be created to be used by a graphics vendor as production-ready art for large format digital applications, not offset printing. The files and all linked images should be saved as CMYK for digital output. All linked images should be 150 dpi at final size and must remain linked, not embedded. Artwork Production Files (Illustrator) Vector art can be in RGB, CMYK, or Spot Color. Raster art must be in RGB. Files should be saved as a native illustrator (.ai) file type. When saving, please be sure to check the Include Linked Files box found under Options All project files required to reassemble or repurpose the artwork. Layout Production Files (InDesign) Package for output and ensure that fonts, images, and other linked elements are included. Please include.idml file and PDF. Production files needed for localization, repurposing, and/or editing of print layouts. PDF Reference CMYK rendition of the Illustrator or InDesign file Used for in-house/short run digital printing Documentation Metadata forms, Contracts, Logs, etc. Physical Container Contents Hard Drive (HDD), Full size photo selects, A4 photo selects, word document explaining contained files, packaged InDesign file (including links, fonts, etc), high resolution PDF reference Photograph and Artwork Deliverables Standard September 2014
5 Amway - Multimedia Project Archive Formatting Standard When vendors elect to deliver projects on hard drive, disc, or other data media, the files should be arranged into the below folder structure* on the chosen media. Physical Media: Hard Drive, DVD, CD, Zipped File, etc. Project Folder Published Title (Folder contains ALL assets related to a single project) Video Files Program Master, Program Sub Master, Raw video, WMV, DVD.iso, etc. Photo Files Photographs from associated or simultaneous photo shoots: camera raw, retouched, and selects Documents Metadata Amway and vendor metadata forms Contracts CSA, Schedule A, Model Release, Music Release, etc. Scripts Shot logs, transcripts, etc. Miscellaneous Other files * File Naming Please use explicit file names to ensure people understand what the file is. For example, if the file is an Ideal Radiance TVC master, please make this clear in the filename (e.g. Art_IdealRadiance_TVC_Master.mov). Do not provide files with working titles or phrases/numbers that would not make sense to the majority of users (such as an image named Art_Product_ psd). More than one project folder may be placed on a single media container. To accommodate multiple projects, simply add an additional project folder set for each.
