3 Test Object: AC48/SeaCom1000 & AC128/SeaCom2100 The AC48/SeaCom1000 & AC128/SeaCom2100 exchanges (PABX) is the heart of the Alphatron/SeaCom maritime communication system, intended to give the seamen easy and reliable on board communication between all essential places on board a ship. 5 Complete system setup The AC48/SeaCom1000 & AC128/SeaCom2100, is part of a complete communications system. During type approval and qualification, the picture below shows a typical complete system setup. 6 Operation conditions: EUT Aux. phone Aux. phone Aux. Aux. phone phone Trunk line loopback 24V DC The AC48/SeaCom1000 & AC128/SeaCom2100 are using exact the same circuit boards inside. The difference is the number of extension boards, and the mechanical design. Therefore the tests are carried out on the SeaCom 1000, with the only exception of the radiated emissions test which must be made on each of the two types. The AC48/SeaCom1000 is equipped with the following circuit boards: PSU, FIO2M, CP2 og 3 * AEXT8 The AC128/SeaCom2100 is equipped with the following circuit boards: PSU, FIO2M, CP2 og 10 * AEXT8 Unless other vice stated, all test was performed with 4 telephones connected. Validation of performance under test: For immunity tests, the following performance levels are used. Level A. Level B/C.
