The base system Each packaged unified communications solution is built upon the same base system of Business Edition 6000 components - giving you what you need to get started: a Cisco UCS server with standard availability pre-installed and ready to use VMware UC Virtualization Hypervisor Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), pre-installed with the standard feature configuration set. A choice of add-ons to suit your business needs These features can be added to the base system to build the right packaged UC solution for your business: For greater fault tolerance, you can choose a high availability server A choice of devices: choose the desktop devices your employees will use to collaborate IP phones, conference phones or analogue adaptors ISDN or SIP gateways: select the PSTN interfaces you need Additional CUCM feature configuration: adapt your core control system to give you even more feature-rich telephony services, such as native call queuing and single number reach Attendant Console: a desktop application for your PC that communicates directly with CUCM, to help handle all calls efficiently and professionally Gateways with Survivable Remote Site Telephony for remote sites: provides telephony backup services to help ensure that remote locations have continuous telephony service Voic (VM) or Unified Messaging (UM): easy-to-manage voic and unified messaging platform (which offers access to multiple message types from one inbox) Additional VM/UM feature configuration: adapt your messaging system to give you even more feature-rich telephony services, such as automated attendant and voice activated directory Instant Messaging and Presence (Cisco Jabber) for all Windows PC users: a feature-rich allin-one UC application for real-time, secure communications.
