Marts 1975 Married, three children EDUCATION 2011 Ph.D. (Biology) University of Copenhagen 2003 M.Sc. (Biology) University of Copenhagen 2000 B.Sc. (Biology) University of Copenhagen EMPLOYMENT Research Scientist; Greenland Climate Research Centre, Greenland Institute of Natural Resources 2010 Maternity leave Ph.D. Scholarship; Greenland Climate Research Centre, Greenland Institute of Natural Resources in co-operation with University of Copenhagen 2007 Maternity leave Research Scientist; Center for Marine Ecology and Climate Impact, Greenland Institute of Natural Resources 2005 Project Coordinator; The Ministry of Environment and Nature, Greenland Home Rule Government Maternity leave Student assistant; Department of Marine Ecology and Aquaculture, Danish Institute for Fisheries Research Student assistant; Marine Biological Laboratory, University of Copenhagen AREA OF RESEARCH INTEREST My research effort is focused on impacts of climate change on marine ecology and food web structures in Arctic coastal waters. With special emphasis on ocean-fjord-glacier interaction in Greenland fjord environments in contact with the Greenland Ice Sheet. I work with pelagic processes and relations between oceanography, chemistry and biology within zoo-plankton ecology, transfer efficiency at the basis of the food-web, species composition, production and carbon flow. I hold broad experience in fieldwork, laboratory experimental work within science and monitoring projects. 1
