Accenture Digital Delivery Team operated Certification Test Center to strategize and implement Test Assessment, Test Processes and conduct Certification testing. Automation was used to reduce cycle length and improve quality. Vigorous Regression Test cycles were introduced to further improve test quality. The result is 50% cost saving, and 100% client satisfactions. Multi-national Insurance company realized 50% testing effort reduction with Accenture Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) This international insurance company with Asian headquarter in Greater China faced Quality and slow Speed to Market issues. Lack of testing framework, tools and processes hindered growth and production issues impacted business operations. Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) was set up in two China Delivery Center locations to perform Application Test Planning and Execution. Manual testing was replaced by Automation in the Regression test area. Accenture was part of the client s Technology Transformation program in which TCoE is utilized among programs. Working with the client, we coordinated with stakeholders to plan and execute various stages of testing (System, Integration, UAT) The result is cost reduction, improve speed to market and increased confident from Business stake holders. software quality. Large life insurance company reduced production defects and met project budget with Accenture Testing methodology and on/off shore model This Leading Life Insurance Company experienced quality issues in production. Immature processes over SDLC including Testing had negative impact to budget and schedule. Accenture brought end-to-end test strategy, planning, execution, metrics and reporting to the client. We utilized a 20/80 on/off shore model to control cost. Automation was brought in to improve efficiency and consistencies among test stages. Test Center was ramped up and reached maturity within one year and consistently yielded positive output. The result is improved software quality; over 97% of defects were discovered and fixed before production implementation. Projects were delivered within +/- 5% variance. 6
