1 ACCESSING THE PARAGON SYSTEM PARAGON WEBSITE ADDRESS: September 16, 2013 Do NOT add a www to the website address. You MUST enter the website address in the URL box at the top of your browser. Do NOT enter the website address in any search boxes. Searching for the website address will not get you to the PAR Paragon site. DO NOT ENTER THE URL IN A SEARCH BOX The Paragon system compatible browsers: Internet Explorer Firefox Safari Chrome Opera TO LOG IN THE PARAGON SYSTEM Use the EXACT same Username and Password to log into Paragon as you use for the List-it system. Please remember that they are case sensitive. 1

2 ACCESSING THE PARAGON SYSTEM September 16, 2013 Once you log into the Paragon system Paragon will send you an verification notice to the address that is on file in the List-it system. You must open the and verify your address in order to be able to send out s from the system. If you do not verify your within 30 days Paragon will temporarily stop all ing manual and auto s. If you do not receive the verification after you login, check your spam or junk folder to make sure your provider did not mark it as a spam . 3 ACCESSING THE PARAGON SYSTEM September 16, 2013 IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PARALLEL PROCESS THE FOLLOWING FEATURES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE DURING THE PARALLEL PROCESS MAPPING Not all aspects of mapping are available at this time. You will see this change as we get closer to cut over. MAINTENANCE There will be no maintenance area during the parallel process. You will continue to add and edit your listings in the List-it system. This includes adding/changing pictures, virtual tours and documents. During the parallel process there will be an update from List-it to Paragon every 2 hours. This means if you add or change a listing it could take up to 2 hours to view the listing/changes in Paragon. PROSPECTS You will not have access to prospects or Client Connect until the week of October 14, Early that week LPS will pull prospects from the List-it system and upload them to Paragon. All of your prospects from the List -it system will transfer over at that time. CMA The CMA function is tied into the Prospecting area. This will be turned on the week of October 14, 2013 once the prospects have been uploaded from the List-it system. SAVED SEARCHES Although your prospect will transfer over, the saved searches you have in List-it will NOT be brought over to Paragon. The differences between the two systems makes it virtually impossible to match fields and proximities accurately. If you have a large number of saved searches we recommend you start recreating those searches once you gain access to Paragon on September 9th. Then, when the prospects transfer over the week of October 14th you can match your saved searches to your prospects. You will find directions on how to find the criteria of your saved searches at the end of this document. Please remember once you setup your prospect for automatic s in the new Paragon system you will want to turn that function off in List-it so that your prospect is not getting two sets of notifications. Once the cutover is finalized on November 12, 2013 all List-it functions (including prospect notifications) will stop. The List-it system will be read only after Friday, November 8, You will be able to log into List-it to see/ print your saved searches until November 30,

4 NOVEMBER TUESDAY 12 Tuesday, November 12, 2013 Official Cutover List-it will be turned off. THINGS TO DO BEFORE THE CUTOVER: 1. Print out criteria of saved searches from the List-it system that need to be recreated in Paragon. 2. Get familiar with the new Paragon system starting September 16, Take advantage of the FREE training for Paragon, visit: h p:// onofrealtors.com/paragontraining.htm LISTING MAINTENANCE DURING CUTOVER During the cutover process listing maintenance will be turned off of the List-it system Friday, November 8, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. THERE WILL BE NO LISTING MAINTENANCE OVER THE WEEKEND (including Monday, November 11-Veteran s Day). Listing Maintenance will be turned on in Paragon Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. There will be several advanced Paragon classes the week of the cutover to address Input and Maintenance. 4

5 How To Print the Criteria for Saved Searches From the Search tab select Pro-Search. Click on the Recall button on the right hand side. Find the search you need to print. Highlight the search and click on the Recall button. 5

6 How To Print the Criteria for Saved Searches Continued... This will bring up a list of the criteria entered for the search. From here you simply click on the Print icon in the upper right hand corner. 6

7 How Do I know Which Searches are Attached to My Prospect? In the Prospects area click on the arrow next to Select A Search and drop down the menu. This will tell you what searches you currently have attached to your prospect. QUESTIONS? Please call the MLS Department at
