This guide will also show you where they are located in the various Tabs found on your control panel AT&T Intellectual Property. All rights reserved. 3 ` Welcome To AT&T Website Solutions SM Welcome to your control panel. From this landing page you will be able to access your webmail, manage your website, marketing tools, shop (where applicable) and find & get support. 3

4 General Information Domain Name Information I Information about your domains is located on the landing page in a section titled Domains as well as on the left navigation bar. If you registered your domain through AT&T Website Services SM then your domain name will automatically be configured to use our nameservers and also set up to automatically renew every year. It can take up to 24 hours for DNS to propagate and be available on the Internet. 1. If your domain name was pre-registered elsewhere, you will need to log in where you purchased your domain name to change the nameservers. 2. The nameservers that you need to communicate to your current registrar are as follows: 1st nameserver: ns1.att-websites.com 2nd nameserver: ns2.att-websites.com 4

5 Setup Information about your setting up and accessing your is located on the landing page in a section titled as well as on the left navigation bar. All plans are built for business use and feature domain-based accounts. To create and manage your new accounts, please follow these steps below: How to get started 1. Sign in to the control panel. 2. Select the tab. 3. Create and manage your accounts. Settings Settings are found in your control panel and provide the following information: address: username@%domain Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.%domain SMTP Port 1025 Incoming mail (POP) server: mail.%domain You can also logon to your via our website. 5

6 Manage Website Tab This section contains information about the tools available to build your website including: EasySite Wizard Mobile Websites FTP ecommerce How to get started 1. Sign into the control panel. 2. Select the Manage Website tab. 3. Click on the icon of the application you want to use 4. 6

7 Example: The Design Section provides tools to create your website. Website Design EasySite Wizard Start building your website with EasySiteWizard TM an intuitive application that allows you to create a customized website. There is a large selection of professionally designed templates and customizable images. No knowledge of HTML is necessary! Mobile Web Page Your website plan includes one mobile-optimized web page to deliver friendly site content for visitors viewing on handheld devices. Create mobile-optimized web pages to convert mobile traffic. Add a map or click to call feature. 7

8 Note: One mobile web page is included in all Website plans and the Build It For Me Basic plan. A full mobilized website is included in the Build It For Me Enhanced and Premium plans. The full mobilized plan can be purchased for all the Website plans and Build It For Me - Basic plans. The Website Tools and ecommerce Sections provide support tools for your website. Upload An Existing Website - FTP You can upload your files using an FTP program or through the File Manager located in your control panel (FTP is used to transfer data from one computer to another over the internet). Your homepage will need to have one of the following file names: index.htm, index.html, index.shtml, index.phtml, index.php, index.wml or index.php3 Note: It is best to keep only one index file in your public directory to avoid confusion, because the server will return the first index file it finds regardless of any other files you have. To configure your FTP client to upload files to your domain, you will need the following information which is found on your control panel: Host name / Address: ftp.%domain Username: %DOMAIN Password: %PASSWORD 8

9 ecommerce StoreCreator is an online ecommerce tool that allows you to create a dynamic storefront. Choose from a wide selection of store templates. Easily incorporate various payment options, product catalogs, language conversions, auto messaging and more. Note: ecommerce is included in both our Website and Build It For Me Premium plans. ecommerce can be purchased as an Add On to all of our Basic and Enhanced Website and Build It For Me plans. Promote & Productivity Tab This tab contains information about marketing your website, including setting up your: marketing OneList Directory EasySiteOptimizer Social Stream Setup 9

10 How to get started 1. Sign into the control panel. 2. Select the Promote & Productivity tab. 3. Click on the icon of the application you want to use Marketing Included in your plan is an marketing tool that makes it easy to send HTML-rich s. Send out newsletters, communicate special offers or announce new product information. Additional contacts can be purchased if you find that you need more. OneList OneList creates and submits a consistent, personalized business listing to 60+ online directories and GPS navigation systems at once. Showcase your company name, web and street address, contact info, etc. to existing and potential customers that are searching for local products and services online. OneList will open in an overlay window and guide you through setup. Note: Included in Enhanced and Premium Plans. Not available for Basic Plans. Social Media Management Manage your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn broadcasts from one centralized interface using SocialStream. Note: Included in Enhanced and Premium Plans. Not available for Basic Plans. Setup Manage your accounts, spam filtering, etc. using this tool. 10

11 Shop Tab This section contains information about other products available and compatible with your website. Due to the plan a customer has this option may not be available, if it is not please call us at WEB.HOST for assistance with purchases. 11

13 Online Support can also be found when you are in the control panel. Just click on Support in the upper right hand corner of the page you are on and a new window will open about that subject, plus there is an opportunity to search for additional information. 13
