2 Read carefully and follow all instructions shipped with this regulator. The incorrect installation of this equipment could result in escaping gas, and pose a potential explosion hazard. See AMCO documents IMP 9710., IMP 970.1, and SB 909. for installation instructions. AMERICAN METER YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY American Meter Company Industrial Products Division (hereinafter referred to as the Company ) supplies industrial regulators of high quality, materials, and workmanship. The company will correct any defect(s) of workmanship occurring during the period of one year after shipment (the Warranty Start Date ) providing the purchaser has given the company immediate written notice of the defects. In addition, a Five Year Warranty to the original owner in a permanent regulator installation is offered against structural failure, and for individual components (list furnished by writing our general office) from the Warranty Start Date under normal use, operation and maintenance. The company obligation under this warranty is limited at its option to repayment of the purchase price, repair or furnishing of a similar part upon inspection and confirmation of the defective condition. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND ANY OTHER WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. Laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are applicable to this warranty. A full copy of the American Meter Company Warranty may be obtained by writing our general offices. CAUTION As a knowledgeable user of American Meter s products, we are sure that you are aware that parts in the Company s meters and regulators contain or are coated with heavy metals such as cadmium, zinc, lead and chromium. Obviously, therefore, repair or refurbishment of this equipment should take into account the presence of these materials and should comply with all state and federal requirements concerning worker protection, proper procedure, and proper disposal.

3 0SERIES TM PILOT REGULATOR General The 0Series Pilot Regulator provides fast, accurate, and stable Pressure Control, improving the performance of all types of Flexible Element Valves. All 0Series Pilots are rated for an Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) of 80 PSIG. (Class 00 Natural Gas Service) Models The 0Series Pilot is available in four () Models: 0L PR Low Pressure ( PSIG) Pressure Reduction 0L RV Low Pressure ( PSIG) Relief Valve 0H PR High Pressure (0 900 PSIG) Pressure Reduction 0H RV High Pressure (0 900 PSIG) Relief Valve 0Series Service Parts Genuine American Meter Company Service Parts keep your 0Series Pilot in peak working condition: AMCO recommends the use of Standard Maintenance Service Kits for general 0Series Pilot maintenance. (O-Rings and Stem/Seat Assy) High Pressure 0Series Pilots, Pilots with > Year Inspection Intervals, and Pilots operating in aggressive Gas Streams should use the Enhanced Maintenance Service Kit : (Diaphragm, O-rings, and Stem/Seat Assy) Any 0Series Pilot part showing visible wear and/or corrosion should be replaced; every part used in the 0Series Pilot is available as a Service Part. Black Label #77P9 Metal Label #77P 0Series Pilot Labels All 0 Series Pilot Regulators use three separate Identification Labels. Two of the Labels are permanent and should be replaced when 0Series Internal Parts or Spring Range is altered: #77P Metal Label (Unstamped)/All Models / Hydrin #77P9 Black/Silver Range Label/All Models Note: A Standard Stamping Kit may be used to Permanently mark Metal Tag # 77P to record Date Code, Spring Range, and Model Number. A Pen can mark Label # 79. Non-Permanent Label #s 77P8 and 77P9 underneath (not shown)
