2 mybtechdegree.ca B.Tech. Degree Completion Program About B.Tech. McMaster University s Faculty of Engineering and Mohawk College s School of Engineering Technology have partnered to establish the Bachelor of Technology degree program in response to the needs of today s innovation-based organizations. Our unique diploma to degree program is tailor-made for college graduates wishing to upgrade their education and further their careers. All eligible program entrants receive two years worth of advanced credit from their previously completed college diploma or university degree. A flexible evening and weekend schedule runs for twelve months of the year, giving students the option to work fulltime while completing the program. Those not working fulltime may take up to six courses per term. Advanced engineering theory and math subjects, along with a concentration of courses in business and management, prepare students for upward career mobility or further education, including university level Master s and Doctoral programs in engineering or business (e.g. M.Eng., M.B.A., M.A.Sc.,etc.). Students of the program have found that with a four year university degree there is a greater opportunity for promotion to management level positions, as well as a more direct path towards gaining a professional engineering license. For more information, visit
