1 PenLib library software for small libraries PenLib is our original product designed for small libraries which don t need complicated functionality, but still demand quality. It was developed by Penny Bailey while she was still working as a library consultant for a number of libraries. PenLib is all-inclusive and offers seamless navigation across all its functions. Built on a robust platform PenLib is offered on a SQL Server platform. SQL Server is a robust enterprise level database engine and is now a market leader in data storage and retrieval. 5 PenLib consultancy services to help you get started We offer a portfolio of services to help you get started with your PenLib system. Our services are flexible and are arranged to meet your individual requirements. No hidden charges our quote will include only the services you require. Installation Services You can choose to use your own IT support or use one of our expert application engineers. Remote-assisted install one of our application engineers will install all components remotely using Citrix technology. We will need to liaise with a member of your IT staff whilst doing this. Free of charge. On-site install we send an application engineer on-site to install all components. Charged at 685 per day or 345 per half day, plus travel expenses. On site training To get you off to a good start we recommend half a days training on PenLib. We will train up to 8 people in a session and we recommend you book a training room if possible. The training will be geared to your requirements and repeat sessions can be run if necessary. Training days can be purchased at 685 per day or 345 per half day, plus travel expenses. We are on hand to make the process as smooth as possible with advice and services designed to help you decide the best way to move across your data. Data conversion services Bailey Solutions offers excellent data conversion services with quality control carried out by qualified professionals and bespoke programs for your data written by experienced programmers. 7 PenLib the technical stuff Bailey Solutions is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and all our products are developed using Microsoft technology so you have the reassurance that our software has been tested by a third party. Testing was conducted independently by VeriTest, a testing service of Lionbridge Technologies. Below explains the technical requirements for the PenLib system if installed on your servers.
