3 1 Introduction By default, Microsoft Terminal server applies the same Time Zone to all users and sessions. This can be quite complex within an international environment where applications rely on date and time, such as financial systems and diaries. A group policy can be configured to set the Time Zone according to the workstation s local regional settings. 2 Group Policy Configuration From the s Run command, type gpedit.msc to open the local server s group policy editor. Within the Local Group Policy Editor, expand Computer Configuration>>Administrative Templates>>Windows Components>>Remote Desktop Services>>Remote Desktop Session Host>>Device and Resource Redirection. Figure 1 - Local Group Policy Editor Select: Allow time zone redirection, right click Properties and tick the option Enabled Version /6
