Setting Outlook Integration properties Workstation Setting. Outlook integration can be enabled in the Workstation settings within Partner for Windows, the workstation settings can be access through File -> Workstation settings. There are two parts to this Default Office Suite. This setting will need to be set to the appropriate version of Microsoft Office currently installed on the PC. Note :- Only Office 2003 and later support the creation of HTML s in Partner Third Party Diary. On Page 2 of the Workstation settings Outlook will have to be selected and Partner closed and restarted. Once restarted, going back to the Workstation settings and selecting Configure on third party integration will bring up the following menu. Within this window the active synchronization between Partner and Outlook can be set up. By default, s, tasks and appointments will be selected. You are able to select what components you would want to actively synchronize between Partner and your Outlook Mailbox, this is done by checking each component.

- 3 - To be able to send tasks and appointments to other user s diaries from within Partner, as well as to amend and remove them, Monitor Active will need to be enabled. The default Sync Interval in this screen is 5 minutes (this means Partner will synchronize with Outlook every 5 minutes, this can be changed to suit your preference). The Sync Now button can also be clicked to force a synchronization User Properties. For Partner to communicate with the correct mail box the user that is logged in will need some more details added to their user properties. These user properties can be accessed through: Maintenance -> Users -> Users Or using the older menus: Maintenance -> Core -> User -> Users

- 4 - Once the user properties are open the following fields will have to be filled in correctly. Internal , External and Mailbox. Note The Mailbox field will have to match the Display Name in active directory.

Installing Integration Components. For the integration to work correctly both processes below will have to be completed with Partner for Windows and Outlook completely closed on the PC. - Note: Checking that the process OUTLOOK.EXE is not running in the task manager will confirm that Outlook has been closed. 2.1 Partner DLL. This file can be located in the Optional Components directory in the Partner share on the server. After unzipping click on the PartnerDLL.exe, the following screen will then be shown: Select All and click Next.

- 6 - This installer will then run through and the above message will appear to show a successful installation. When this install is running through the following error may appear: If this error appears and the file name is as above winhttp.dll, then ignore can be selected and the installation will continue. If the file name is Redemption.dll or another dll then Outlook and/or Partner have not fully been closed. Closing these programs and clicking retry will continue with the installation.

- 7 - If the following message appears when running PartnerDLL then PartnerDLL has already been installed onto the PC. You may wish to uninstall at this point and reinstall PartnerDLL to confirm that all components had been installed onto the PC. 2.2 Redemption. This file can be located in the Optional Components directory in the Partner share on the server, the file is called Redemption_redist_ zip. After unzipping click on the folder that has been created and there should be an Install file. Double clicking the install file will give you the following screen:

- 8 - Click Install and type the location C:\Partner\Outlook\ Then Click OK. This will install the latest version of redemption.dll for Partner to use. Completing the above steps will successfully setup Partner and Outlook integration, meaning Partner can be used to create and amend tasks and appointments within personal or public Outlook calendars for a case file. s can now also be created and sent in Case Manager via Outlook using HTML document templates.
