Prezados (as) Senhores (as), Segue em anexo a Convocatória do Campeonatos Pan-Americanos Infantil e Veterano, que serão realizados na cidade de Ponce, Porto Rico. 2 SUMMONS THE PANAMERICAN FENCING FEDERATION, WITH THE HELP OF THE INTERNATIONAL FENCING FEDERATION AND THE COORDINATION OF THE PUERTO RICO FENCING FEDERATION AND THE AUTONOMOUS MUNICIPALITY OF PONCE. PLACE AND TIME Time: August 22, 2016 Place: Salvador Dijols Coliseum, Ponce Puerto Rico Inscripctions For inscriptions please use the form available at the Puerto Rico Fencing Federation webpage, and send via to Such inscriptions must be sent in or before July 25, 2016 Inscription costs: 20 dollars usd. Per Event. Participants Each country may be represented by a máximum of 6 fencers for each weapon per category(male/female), whom must have the approval of their respective National Federation and present evidence by means of official passport for motives of inscription by category. Children s category A; masculine y feminine Children s category B: masculine y feminine Pre-Veteran years old (born between 1967 and 1976) Veteran years old (born between 1957 y 1967) Veteran 2 60 years old and up (Born on 1955 or before) Periods from January 1 to December 30 Skills System It will be under the current system of the FIE Children s Category A: Combat shall take place with sheet #2, combat on the poules are 4 points and elimination is 8 points. Children s Category B: Combat shall take place with a sheet #5, combat are 5 points and elimination is 10 points. Pre-Veteran Category: Combat on the poules are 5 points and elimination is 10 points. Veteran 1 & 2 Categories : Combat on the poules are 5 points and elimination is 10 points. Material Check It will be held at the place of competition the day before each test from 9:00 Hrs. 350 NW for using uniform is recommended, considering Chapter 4 article t-15 of the Technical Regulations of the FIE, on MATERIAL HANDLES (Weapons, Equipment and Clothing) Protocol For purposes of the Opening Ceremony protocol, each club is requested at least two representatives (1 Male and 1 Female), who must carry their full national uniform. They must bring three flags National Flags for the opening and awards. Fencers that win medals must be compulsorily present at

3 the awards ceremony respectively, with the full uniform of the club. If it is missing, his complete white fencing uniform will do. Directorio Técnico y Arbitraje Food and Lodging The Chairman of the Technical Board shall be appointed by the Puerto Rico Fencing Federation. The other members shall be appointed during the Technical Board. The National Federations of each country that have 5 to 7 fencers must bring a referee certified by the FIE and his flight expenses must be covered by their respective national federation. The lodging, and internal transportation shall be covered by the Organizing Committee. Transportation Hotel / Competition / Hotel Round trip transportation will be provided to the place of competition to those staying in official hotels and are under the organizing committee through the [email protected] International Airports Technical Meeting Luis Muñoz Marín ( San Juan) Mercedita (Ponce) It will be: 21 August at 7:00 pm Temporary Confirmation of flights and Transport Airport / Hotel / Airport. The unforeseen points under this summons will be resolved by the Technical Board.
