1 BILECIK VOCATIONAL SCHOOL Bilecik Vocational school houses one major department, the department of Technical Programs. Department of Technical Programs offers twelve programs: Automotive, Computer Technology and Programming, Food Technology, Mechanics, Construction, Electrical Plants and Maintenance, Industrial Electronics, Chemistry, Casting, Electronic Communications, Agricultural Tools and Machines and Industrial Automation. All programs, except Casting, Agricultural Tools and Machines offer evening programs and Automotive have only evening programs. During the two years' education, it is compulsory for the students to gain experience by working in industry for eight weeks and also they are able to carry on their work for two weeks as an apprentice. While doing their apprenticeships, students are controlled by the academic staff. Therefore, the students have both the experience of their subject and a chance to find a good job easily.
