This resulted in the enhancement of the department s image and a decrease in reported crime Lieutenant Department of Public Safety University of Delaware Newark, Delaware As a Lieutenant, I was responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the section which performed the patrol function. Additionally, I assisted the director in conducting legal research and maintaining liaison with various local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and the university community. After assisting in a departmental reorganization in 1978, I developed the patrol section and implemented operational patrol procedures and techniques. This resulted in a reduction in reported crime and fostered a positive image of the department within the community Investigator Security Department University of Delaware Newark, Delaware As an Investigator, I conducted preliminary and follow-up criminal investigation. Duties included shift supervisory responsibilities and liaison with the residence life staff of a dormitory complex. Performance resulted in a promotion within nine months of initial appointment Postal Inspector U.S. Postal Inspection Service Newark, New Jersey As a Postal Inspector, I investigated violations of the federal law as it pertains to the U.S. Mail. Performance was consistently rated excellent.

Performance resulted in a promotion within 1 1/2 years of initial appointment. As a Special Agent Squad Leader, I supervised a group of special agents assigned to enforce the criminal laws of the State of Illinois. Under my direction, the squad was ranked number one based on performance evaluations Salesman and Product Assistant Swift and Company EDUCATION As a Product Assistant to the Sales Manager, I was responsible for monitoring the activities of the national sales force in the grocery division of Swift and Company.
