STCRPV members of RD 84-Tagbilaran City, led by RDO Romeo Naranjo, conducted a public hearing last July 18 for the proposed revision of zonal valuation for the whole Province of Bohol. RD 74-Iloilo City conducted its tax mapping saturation drive last July 12 covering the areas of Timawa and Baluarte Streets in Iloilo City. Withholding Agents Compliance Monitoring Section Chief Erlinda Cariño, TRA Monitoring Section Chief Imelda Savellano and Arabella Ramos of TRA Monitoring Section from the National Office served as lecturers. RD 4-Calasiao, Pangasinan, headed by RDO Christine Cardona and OIC-Asst. RDO Charmaine De La Torre, conducted a refresher briefing on withholding tax laws and regulations applicable to government agencies last July 18. It was attended by representatives from all LGUs, NGAs and GOCCs registered within its jurisdiction. Photos show resource speakers, OIC-Asst. RDO De La Torre and OIC-CAS Susana Cabanayan urging all government agencies to act and serve as "Role Models" to taxpaying public in terms of tax compliance. RD 78 - Binalbagan RD 78-Binalbagan, headed by RDO Arturo Acabal, conducted a seminar on the final implementation of the Electronic Tax Remittance Advice (etra) System last July 17 at Binalbagan Convention Hall. Seventy-two (72) out of 75 National Government Agencies represented by their principals/accountants/personnel in-charge of TRA attended the seminar. Resource speakers were Section Chief Erlinda Carino of Withholding Agents Compliance Monitoring Division, Section Chief Imelda Savellano and Arabella Ramos of the Tax Remittance Advice Monitoring Division. RD 27 - Caloocan City RD 27- Caloocan City, headed by RDO Albino Galanza, in cooperation with Victory Central Mall in Caloocan City, conducted a tax dialogue with tiangge organizers, operators/exhibitors and regular stallholders last July 16 to remind them of their tax obligations. RDO Esperanza Castro and Revenue Officer Sonny Apolonio of RD 20-Bataan discuss with a group of hospital administrators and accountants the Withholding Tax regulations on professional fees of medical practitioners during a Seminar on Compliance Requirements held last July 16. RD 77 - Bacolod City RDO Lilivic Gatdula of RD 77-Bacolod City delivers a message to bookkeepers and accountants of National Government Agencies during the Electronic Tax Remittance Advice (etra) briefing held at RR 12's Social Hall last July 18. RD Wilma Elivera of RR 15-Zamboanga City awarded the Top Collection Performers for the month of June 2013 during the 7th Regional Staff Conference held last July 18. Meetings RR 16 - CDO City Alberto Olasiman of RR 16-Cagayan de Oro City congratulates the RDOs who met their collection goals for the month of June and for the period January to June 2013 during the 7th Regional Staff Conference held last July 18 at the Regional Office's conference room. 7 Sports Tournament of RR 6 - Manila 7 Surprise Visit of RD 13 RR 6-Manila conducted its Sports Tournament last July 17 at the Knights of Columbus Gym. It started with an invocation, followed by welcome remarks by RDO Petronilo Fernando and players' oath of sportsmanship led by Atty. Curiba. Trophies were awarded to RD 29-Tondo for the Best Muse and to RD 31-Sta. Cruz for the Best Uniform. RR 19 s Outreach Program Close to 500 pupils from the Elementary Schools of Moria, Liwanag and Banlag in Monkayo, Compostela Valley Province received packs of school supplies from the BIR, through RR 19- Davao City, headed by Glen Geraldino, last July 17 at Banlag Elementary School Gym. It was the last leg of a series of outreach activities conducted by the region on behalf of BIR employees nationwide who contributed cash donations for the victims of Typhoon Pablo that hit the Davao region in December last year. The activity was conducted jointly with members of the Davao-Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. who also gave away a truckload of water containers to residents in the area. OIC- Marina De Guzman of RR 3-Tuguegarao City conducted a surprise visit last July 18 at RD 13-Tuguegarao City to check on the status of the number of applicants for Authority to Print (ATP) vs. actual registered taxpayers and unused receipts surrendered by taxpayers for destruction, among others. RD 89 s Destruction of Unused Receipts RDO Arturo Abenoja, Jr. and Asst. RDO Mederico Villablanca of RD 89-Ormoc City, together with TSS Chief Leah Sabelino, conducted last July 16 the destruction of surrendered unused/expired receipts and invoices.
