2 AREPA REACT Emergency Response A disaster does not have to result in total devastation. Your response and actions during the initial stages may be critical in the process of minimising Business Interruption and secondary damage. AREPA offer an emergency contingency programme called REACT, to help in times of crisis, such as a flood or a fire. Partnering AREPA in the REACT programme, can mean the difference between effective operational recovery and further damage, leading to loss of equipment, resources and more importantly customers. One call to our 24 hour emergency response line puts REACT into action. Our experienced personnel will respond immediately to your requirements Once REACT is instigated our immediate response once on site would be to: Stabilise the premises. Assess the scope of damage. Emergency mitigation to machinery and equipment to prevent further damage. Recover salvageable assets of value and store them in a suitable facility. Dedication of a Project Manager to oversee the project. Construct a programme of works to suit all relevant personnel contact@arepa.co.uk
3 When the worst happens, always REACT
4 AREPA Commercial Duct Decontamination AREPA (UK) is able to offer a unique commercial duct decontamination service for businesses following a fire. The after effects of fire damage, soot and chloride deposits have always caused significant contamination problems throughout the duct systems when left, and not dealt with proficiently. The unique AREPA duct decontamination system, which was bourn and perfected from our Research and Development facility in the UK, now allows us to eradicate the age old problem of soot and chloride deposits left in the duct (HVAC) system, and further spread throughout the building once the HVAC system has been switched back on. Our system allows us to thoroughly decontaminate the HVAC system using a predominantly dry application, however where a wet decontamination may be required, a safe foam based chemical will be used to reduce the amount of water required contact@arepa.co.uk

16 Wind Turbine Restoration & Decontamination AREPA has vast experience of restoring damage to, and the contamination of, wind turbines. Wind turbines are subject to exposure, either in transit or on-site, from the damaging effects of soot, oil, chemicals, salt, dust and other substances. AREPA has been successfully managing the restoration of damaged wind turbines for more than a decade. Some of the most common examples of wind turbine damage include: Fire - The most common form of damage is a minor short circuit or a lightning strike, which causes a fire in one of the electrical components of the turbine. Quantities of soot and a variety of chemical compounds can find their way into many parts of the turbine. Contamination - Classic examples of contamination are hydraulic oils, damper fluids, coastal fog (which leaves salt deposits), mould, water, and subsoil sulphur fumes. Transit - Contamination and corrosion damage can occur in transit or during storage. AREPA has the necessary skills and resources to act quickly, being on-site within hours of instruction. Our rapid response time limits any consequential damage and ensures that business as usual is restored quickly, saving valuable time and money contact@arepa.co.uk
