This new Pay-As-You-Go approach eliminates the steep up-front capital investment previously required. ScrapRunner s GPS-based dispatch, routing and container management capabilities can now be purchased on a pertruck, month-to-month basis with no long-term contracts. Originally, scrap operators would need to purchase the software, handheld barcode scanners and integration services for an up front cost of $70,000 or more, in addition to paying an annual software maintenance fee. Pricing and Availability Priced at $195 per-month, per-truck, the monthly rental cost includes the use of the dispatch software and the handheld GPS scanner.
