EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER/CERTIFICATION FROM EMSRB Emergency Medical Responder for Law Enforcement/First Responder (LAWE 104) or an EMT course is not required to attend summer Skills, but is needed prior to receiving sign-off to take the Minnesota POST exam. The Emergency Medical Responder for Law Enforcement or EMT course must meet the Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board (EMSRB) standards. You must have an EMSRB card (doesn t have to be current) in order to receive sign-off to take the Minnesota POST exam. Please plan ahead and take this course immediately so it doesn t delay when you become eligible to take the POST exam. COMPLETE SKILLS PREFERENCE INFORMATION 9-WEEK DAY SKILLS PROGRAM (INITIAL) I understand as a bachelor s degree student, I will be assigned to the Day Skills program if accepted into Summer Skills Day Skills is an approximately nine week program (including a two day driving school in St. Cloud, MN), Monday Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Skills is tentatively planned to start May 9 th and end July 7 th. 14-WEEK NIGHT/WEEKEND SKILLS PROGRAM REQUEST Some students request the Night/Weekend Skills program. There is no guarantee that bachelor degree students will be allowed into the Night/Weekend Skills program; however, occasionally there are openings.
