MOORE Curriculum Vitae EDUCATION B.A. University of Vermont Psychology Magna Cum Laude (with honors) RESEARCH EXPERIENCE April 2014 Present Yale Child Study Center, Arab Resource Collective (ARC), UN Alliance of Civilizations Project Title: Rigorous Impact Evaluation of the Mother and Child Education Program (MOCEP) in Beirut, Lebanon Principal Investigators: James F Leckman, MD, PhD & Ghassan Issa, MD Responsibilities: Traveled to Beirut to lead training for the assessment team in research ethics, data collection principals, and recruitment and evaluation procedures. Acted as liaison between ARC and Yale to assist in the finalization of protocols and procedures. Provided ongoing remote support for the data collection team. Assisted in the development of treatment fidelity procedures. Yale Child Study Center Project Title: Integrated Brain, Body, and Social Intervention (IBBS) for children with ADHD Principal Investigators: James F Leckman, MD, PhD & Bruce Wexler, MD Responsibilities: Coordinated all aspects of a multi-site, randomized controlled trial of an afterschool program in Hamden and New Haven, CT: Data Collection & Lab Management Coordinated all data collection efforts and oversaw data management procedures including data entry and verification. Assisted with IRB amendments and re-approvals. Supervised undergraduate and graduate research assistants. Recruitment & Enrollment Led recruitment and enrollment for children with or at-risk for ADHD across six schools. Determined eligibility and enrollment of typically developing subjects. Training & Implementation Assisted with the training and implementation of all components of the program (e.g., physical exercises, computerized cognitive training, Good Behavior Game). Provided on-going implementation support and fidelity ratings of the Good Behavior Game. Program Development Developed and coordinated Parent Day for families to observe their child s progress and accomplishments while they participated in the after-school program. Contributed in the development and revisions of program content (i.e., cognitive training, physical exercises) and training materials between school years. 2 Project Title: Peer Relations and Academic Achievement Study Principal Investigator: Diana Murray-Close, Ph.D. Responsibilities: Supervised and trained a team of research assistants in data collection procedures and data entry. Led peer nomination data collection in classrooms for approximately 200 pre-adolescent and adolescent students and prepared data for analysis. Assisted in the day-today organization of the research lab. Wrote and assisted with IRB amendments to the protocol. CLINICAL RESEARCH EXPERIENCE April 2014 Present Yale Child Study Center, Arab Resource Collective, UN Alliance of Civilizations Project Title: Rigorous Impact Evaluation of the Mother and Child Education Program (MOCEP) in Beirut, Lebanon Principal Investigators: James F Leckman, MD, PhD & Ghassan Issa, MD Responsibilities: Trained the assessment team in how to administer pre-school neuropsychological tests that were culturally and developmentally appropriate adaptations of Snack Delay, Simon Says (Bear & Dragon), and the Stroop (Fruit Stroop). Assessment battery: California Verbal Learning Test, Stroop Color-Word task, WRAML-2 Finger Windows, NEPSY Word Generation, Test of Everyday Attention for Children, and Kaufman s Brief Intelligence Test-2. Assessed symptoms of inattention and hyperactivity/impulsivity during testing using the SNAP-IV ADHD Rating Scale. Implemented a universal classroom-based behavior management strategy, the Good Behavior Game, with study participants diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, and an Autism Spectrum Disorder. May 2013 March 2014 Yale Child Study Center, National Institute of Mental Health Project Title: Intravenous Immunoglobulin for PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) Principal Investigators: James F Leckman, MD, PhD & Susan Swedo, MD Responsibilities: Pre-screened participants for acute-onset OCD prior to enrollment in the study. Provided co-ratings of OCD symptoms (Children s Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale), tic severity (Yale Global Tic Severity Scale), and associated neuropsychological symptoms (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychological Syndrome Scale) across multiple time-points. 3 Project Title: Cognitive Mechanisms of Social Competence in School-Age Children: An examination of working memory, social information processing, and ADHD symptoms Project Director: Julia McQuade, PhD Responsibilities: Administered clinical interviews assessing social information processing skills and a battery of cognitive tests to 8 to 12 year-old study participants. Cognitive assessment battery: WISC-IV Digit Span and Matrix Reasoning subtests and WRAML-2 Finger Windows subtest. Assistant Project Coordinator July 2009 May 2011 Project Title: College Academic Achievement and Relationships Project; Social Interactions and Health; Peer Relationships Project; Child and Adolescent Friendship Study Principal Investigator: Diana Murray-Close, Ph.D. Responsibilities: Scheduled and administered Social Competence Interviews during autonomic nervous system monitoring (i.e., heart rate, skin conductance, blood pressure) among a collegeaged sample. Recruited child participants to complete Social Competence Interviews and to obtain recordings of physiological activity (i.e. heart rate, skin conductance, blood pressure) in a clinical setting and at a rural all-girls summer camp. Leckman, MD, PhD Responsibilities: Attended clinical case conference meetings through the TS OCD ADHD Specialty Clinic for the purpose of writing and editing evaluation summaries that detailed symptom presentation, impairment, and treatment recommendations. OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE School Program Coordinator Sept 2011 April 2013 New York City Public School for Dance (Ballet Tech), New York City Administrative Directors: Janel Cooke & Joe Gregori Responsibilities: Coordinated auditions in approximately 200 New York City Public Schools for over 30,000 students grades 2 through 5 each academic school year: Recruitment Recruited disadvantaged schools to participate in the Beginner Programs at Ballet Tech, resulting in the introduction of approximately 600 young dancers to ballet. Enrolled a subset of students from the Beginner Program to attend Ballet Tech on a full-time basis the following year. Beginner Program Coordination Scheduled and coordinated the arrival and departure of 150 students from host public schools to Ballet Tech.
