9 GALVESTON COUNTY TEXAS Summit 7 Systems deployed a standardized county intranet solution based on as the county s singular hub for collaboration and decision making. Summit 7 Systems also designed a new public facing site for the citizens of Galveston County. We redesigned the site based on the existing county government guidelines, while creating a unified user experience for ease of navigation. Galveston County now has a single point of communication, content and collaboration for the county with complete end-to-end maintenance. Our vision was for a single intranet that would span all of our county organizations and allow managers to keep employees fully informed about our County. In addition to providing the platform for internal communications, the new intranet was to deliver a range of services and capabilities across a number of mobile platforms and devices. Summit 7 Systems was an excellent partner to execute our intranet and the project was so well received that we are launching our public site in January using their branded design for our county. 10 CITY OF CHARLOTTE The City of Charlotte desired a single point to collaborate with external customers, partners, vendors and citizens of the city of Charlotte. Summit 7 Systems began this engagement with sessions of extensive requirements gathering across the numerous business units within the City of Charlotte organization, and then moved into an initial design phase where those requirements identified by Summit 7 Systems were vetted and accepted by the customer. Extranet Solution Requirements and Design Summit 7 Systems tightly integrated the City accepted requirements into the design of an extranet that would meet the needs and requirements of the City of Charlotte user community.
