2 Dear Colleagues, it is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the 2 nd International Meeting of the Italian Neurosurgical Society Spine Section. In this edition of the meeting, we put forward and discuss a proposal of the new nosographic imaging of lumbar canal stenosis. This new protocol involves about 80 orthopaedists and neurosurgeons; the scientific programme includes a relevant number of Italian and foreign surgeons specialized in spinal surgery. We are also honored of the attendance of well known international surgeons. In consideration of the great success achieved during the first edition both in the scientific and in the commercial side we suggest again the same progressive and agile pattern.
