This involves scheduling, curriculum development and assessment, marketing, advising, and generally representing the mathematics department within the university. Lead Faculty are members of College Curriculum Committee which sends approved curriculum changes for COAS to the University Curriculum Committee. Graduate Coordinator for Math: Sp2013-F2013. This involves monthly meetings to discuss and approve ongoing changes within the graduate school as well as assessment and recruiting for graduate program. Faculty Senator: F2011-Sp2012.This involves monthly meetings to discuss and vote on recommendations for administrative consideration of faculty issues. During this term, I spent significant time reviewing and editing the Faculty Senate By-Laws while on the By- Laws subcommittee. Committee on Committees: F2012-Present, Chair: F2013-Present. This involves reviewing newly proposed university committees to avoid redundancies in the university committee structure. Furthermore, it involves keeping track of faculty membership on university committees and recommending faculty placement on committees to the Provost. Developing Online Graduate Course for approval for professional development credit for Actuarial Societies.This has involved creating a new course to include topics specific to the needs of actuaries and getting professional development credit approved by the actuarial societies. Founding Dean Search Committee for COAS: F2013. This involves reviewing application materials for Dean candidates as well as selecting and interviewing top candidates on the phone and on campus. Judge for Pathways 2013 Competition in Kingsville.This involved judging dozens of poster presentations for the pathways competition and aiding TAMUCT student participants in their preparation for the competition. Master s Thesis Supervisor: F2012-Present. This involves developing a reasonable master s level project in mathematics to give the student a mastery of topics from within and without our graduate curriculum. It is likely that this thesis will also be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal for publication which is not common for master s theses. Graduate School Marshall for Commencement: F2013. This involves leading graduates in and out of the commencement ceremony. Recruiting and Presentation at the Bioscience Institute: 2012 This involved giving a mathematical presentation at the biosciences institute and recruiting some high quality students into the TAMUCT program.

4 4 Research and Publications My research is in Harmonic and Functional Analysis. In particular, my focus is on linear and multi-linear analysis and the connection between underlying geometric and measuretheoretic structures of spaces and the properties of multi-linear operators which map between such spaces. My research applies to an increased understanding of nonlinear physical models in PDE s as well as establishing and/or extending fundamental geometric principles within complex analytical settings.
