2 Abstract Ever since I became a specialist in Orthopaedic surgeon, I have done more than 300 surgeries per year. Until 2002 did I 100 hips and 50 knee prosthesis per year and in addition, more than 150 arthroscopic operations. Since moving to Malmö 10 years ago I have changed my interest somewhat and am specialising more in sports injuries. This has meant that there has only been time to do about 30 hips and 30 knee arthroplastics per year.
