Additional volum e discounts are determined on case-by-case basis. For exam ple, they m ay not apply i f extensive formatting w ork is required. If applied, they are as follow s: -10,000 + words -25,000 + words -50,000 + words -100,000 + words Social Service 1% discount 2% discount 3% discount 4% discount 5 to 10% discount. (A t our discretion.) MINIMUM FEES $100 m inim um fee for all per-word charges. 2-hour m inim um for all per-hour charges. PROJECT MANAGEMENT FEES Varies according to project. RUSH RATES The rush rate factors applied are double rate (x 2) for work performed within 24 hours, and "time and a h a lf (x 1.5) if within a 48-hour deadline period, over the weekend, or on a federal holiday. Time and a h a lf is also applied to portions o f assignments which require work in excess o f a day s workload. I.e., those portions in excess o f 2,500 source words per business day are also billed at x 1.5. Time and h a lf may also be applied for hourly work in performed excess o f 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, on weekends, or on a federal holiday. ESTIM ATES, W ORD COUNTS & INVOICING Please contact us if you have any questions with regard to estimates or invoicing. The word count o f the language with the most words is counted for invoices o f Spanish to English or English to Spanish translation. (This is usually the Spanish language word count.) Typically, estimates o f word counts for translation into English are arrived at by converting a source PDF in Spanish to Word, and applying the Word Count function. If no Spanish source file is available or if conversions are unworkable, line-byline estimates are made, and are later adjusted for invoicing by multiplying the final translation s English count by a factor o f ranging from 1.05 to 1.15 (depending on the extent o f contraction in the final text) to arrive at an approximation o f the Spanish source count. These same factors are used to provide estimates for English source files to be translated to Spanish. Our policy is for final invoices not to exceed quotes by more than 10%, if covering the same work quoted. COSTS & EXPENSES If needed, 1 hard copy is provided at no extra cost, additional ones at 10 cents per page. Transmittals (e.g., FedEx, messengers), and media transfers/duplicates are billed at actual cost. Travel, mileage and per diem expenses are typically billed following U.S. government guidelines. PAYM ENT TERMS Net 60 days. A late charge o f 5% applies on all balances unpaid in excess o f 30 days. Additional legal interest may accrue.
