3 1. What is MasterCard SecureCode? MasterCard SecureCode is an internationally recognized standard for identification of cardholders for online purchases with Mastercard bank cards. This service prevents fraud and allows you to make secure online payments after entering a personal password (SecureCode). With every purchase made through an online merchant certified by Mastercard SecureCode, your SecureCode will have to be entered to complete the payment. The identification of your card and SecureCode works as a safety precaution without delaying your purchase. MasterCard SecureCode can be used for online purchases with merchants, registered for the service in the MasterCard Worldwide organization. You can identify them by the following logo on their website: After registering your card for the MasterCard SecureCode service you can still make transactions to merchants not registered for the service by following the standard procedure. 3

4 2. How to register for MasterCard SecureCode? Every Maestro or MasterCard card, issued by the bank, can be registered for the service. In case of reissuing of your card it would be necessary to complete a new registration. You can register your card using one of the following methods: 2.1. Standard registration In this case you receive a temporary password from an ATM machine (within the BORIKA- BANKSERVICE network) following the steps below: Click on Other Services on the main menu 4

5 Click on Internet Payment Click on 5

6 Click on Temporary code for registration After entering your PIN code, the ATM machine will print a receipt with your 9-digit temporary code for registration. If the ATM does not print out the receipt you can repeat the procedure on another ATM machine. The temporary code is valid for 3 days for you to complete the registration for the MasterCard SecureCode service in the International Asset Bank website - after following these steps: Click on the following link to complete your registration in English: =20 6

7 The link will take you to the tab displayed below, where you will have to click on Register now to initiate the registration. In the next two tabs you will have to click on Register with a Temporary SecureCode and fill in your card number (without any spaces). 7

8 Afterwards you will be required to accept the general Terms and Conditions of the service and fill in the Temporary SecureCode, printed on the ATM receipt. On the last step of the registration process you can choose your MasterCard SecureCode for online payments, secret question (used in case you forget your SecureCode) and the answer to it. 8

10 The personal greeting you choose will be displayed during every purchase through an online merchant, confirming that you are connected to the International Asset Bank system. If your personal greeting is not displayed or a different one appears, we advise you not to proceed with the transaction. Upon successful registration a congratulatory webpage will appear. 10

Registration during online purchases Once you initiate your first online payment with a MasterCard SecureCode certified merchant, after clicking on the payment button, you will proceed to the registration for the service. Afterwards you will be asked a question and upon successful answering you can click on the Activate Now button to continue to the next step. 12

13 Your registration for the MasterCard SecureCode, as well as your online purchase will be completed successfully after you select your personal SecureCode and click on Submit. 13

14 3. How to make an online purchase? Once registered, your SecureCode will be recognized by every MasterCard SecureCode certified online merchant. The service does not require any additional software and can be used on every computer with an Internet connection. To initiate an online payment using MasterCard SecureCode, you will have to follow the steps below: Choose the product or service you wish to purchase and fill in your card number. You will see the following tab: After filling in your personal SecureCode and clicking on Submit, International Asset Bank will check the inserted data and upon matching will allow the transaction to continue securely through the MasterCard SecureCode system. 14

In case of entering a wrong SecureCode three times, you will be asked to submit the answer to your secret question. When answered successfully, you can choose a new SecureCode. If you forget the answer to your secret question, International Asset Bank will block your access to the service. In this case you can request a new SecureCode using the Code Change option in the menu of every ATM machine within the BORIKA-BANKSERVICE network. At that time your card will be unblocked automatically.
