2 I made an appointment for my partner with Pembroke Dental, our family dentist often made him feel bad about his teeth and it put him off visiting. I am also very nervous visiting our dentist. I had heard great things about Pembroke Dental dealing with nervous patients. My partner couldnt believe the standard of care he was given and how nice and friendly everyone was. I havent had to visit yet but when I do I wont be nervous. I couldnt rate them highly enough for helping my partner and our family will all be moving to Pembroke Dental. I am very nervous patient never had a filling without been put asleep. The care and kindness that Maria and Lisa showed me was fantastic. Thank you. I had an emergency this morning and the staff of Pembroke Dental booked me into their branch in Granby Row for 12.30pm. I was taken in straight on the spot by Lisa. Fabulous and friendly service. Thanks so much!!!

We were over the moon to win an Irish Dentistry Award for best practice in Leinster region in 2012 and In 2016 we are aiming for Best Practice in Leinster region as well as in the whole of Ireland. Why? Over the last few years we have grown bigger and better and are now able to offer our patients a one-stop shop for all their dental health needs. Unless they have a rare or complex condition which we refer to the dental hospital, one of our team can give them any treatment they might need. We feel this is really excellent customer service in a small market town with Dublin a good hour s distance by car or coach.

4 Innovation Pembroke Dental has been extended upstairs so that it now has a dental laboratory with two technicians, Aleksander Yalnazov and Andrea Kinsella. After a few months here, Aleksander introduced an innovative new partial denture system called Valplast. This flexible and more comfortable denture has been a big hit with patients looking for discreet tooth replacement options but not wanting an implant. Other changes that we have made are to appoint a sterilization nurse so that cross infection control is streamlined and all our dental nurses can focus on patient care. Recent training includes Fastbraces for Lisa Doyle, sleep apnoea for Brenda Barrett, sedation nursing for Elisa and CPR training for everyone. I would just like to say Thank you for making me my new dentures so quickly and well. It has been just four weeks since they were fitted and I am already eating almost all foods as normal. I can t begin to say what great service I received.

5 Successful marketing Our marketing has also moved forward dramatically. We continue to make patient information folders available and we have a sizeable Facebook following. We also have a folder of information available to patients in our patient lounge area.

6 High standards As well as maintaining our high standard of patient care and our reputation as Carlow s friendly dental practice, we have taken our service offering forward and believe that we have what it takes to win the 2016 awards. 7 Athy triathlon Meanwhile, the team ethos at Pembroke Dental goes from strength to strength. We recently participated in the Athy Triathalon the Triathy and raised money for a local day care centre. We trained together by exercising at lunch times as well as going to the gym after work and the team-building benefits were superb. Very happy with my dentist experience. Thank you.

8 Granby clinic Our dedication to looking after patients has expanded with the opening of our sister practice Granby Clinic. We now operate a multi-functional health clinic with a skin practitioner, podiatrist, physical therapist, eye surgeon and more dental treatment available too!
