1 Installation of VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version 1. System Requirements Any computer in the network can serve as VisiMix server, and not necessarily the network file server Requirements for the VisiMix Server: PC with a 486 microprocessor or higher; 32 MB of memory; Hard disk with 30 MB of free space for installation; Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP. The following communication protocols are supported: IPX, TCP/IP and NetBIOS Requirements for Workstations PC with a 486 microprocessor or higher; 16 MB of memory; Hard disk with 10 MB of free space for installation; VGA or SVGA video adapter (we recommend to set up Windows screen resolution to 800x600 before running VisiMix). Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP. To obtain VisiMix Report files that accumulate initial data and calculated results, and documentation files, you need also: * Microsoft Internet Explorer, or * Microsoft Word (with HTML converter option on). In the event that VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version is installed both on the VisiMix server, and on workstations, we recommend to increase disk space available for installation to about 20 MB. 1.3 Network Requirements Firewall or any kind of network guard is required for configure. Working with VisiMix Server on the network requires network traffic in TCP port number 475. The port should configure to be open, both direction client and server. 2. How to Install VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version: VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version pack includes: VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version Server and Workstation on the VisiMix CD HASP protection plug (NetHASP key). 2.1 Server It is highly recommended to install VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Server Version under the supervision of a System Administrator. VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Server Version can be installed on one of the computers in the network (hereinafter "the VisiMix Server"). It does not necessarily have to be the network file server. Important note: To install the server version on another computer, please first uninstall it from the current VisiMix server.

2 2 Installation procedure: 1) Insert VisiMix installation disk in the VisiMix server; 2) Connect the Net-HASP protection plug to the USB (or Parallel) port. 3) Select: Install VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 NET Server setup. Follow the prompts. VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version will be installed in VisiMix 2K7/ VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network directory, which is created on the drive selected for the VisiMix installation, and the following options will appear in Start-Programs menu: - VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version - HASP License Manager Setup for VisiMix - Aladdin Monitor Setup for VisiMix - README (VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version) - HELP (VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version) - Uninstall VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network (Server) VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version is installed on the computer selected as VisiMix server, and if the network procedure allows users to access the server disk, the users run the software from the server. Installation of HASP License Manager with the setup file: 1) Select VisiMix 2K7 folder in Start-Programs menu; 2) Click on HASP License Manager Setup for VisiMix. 3) Select the language and follow the prompts. 4) In "Installation Type" window, select the "Service (nhsrvice.exe)" installation, and follow the prompts.

3 3 5) In "Driver installation" window, click "Next" and follow the prompts. 6) In "HASP License Manager" window, select to start it now ("Yes") as shown in the picture below.

4 4 You can operate the HASP License Manager by using the graphical user interface. To open the main window of the graphical user interface, double-click the icon of the red HASP Net key in the system tray. Aladdin Monitor permits centralized administration of the HASP License Manager applications and the HASP Net Keys. You can install Aladdin Monitor on any station in the network. It is not necessary to install a HASP License Manager on the same station. 1) Select VisiMix 2K7 folder Select in Start-Programs menu and click on Aladdin Monitor Setup for VisiMix, and follow the prompts; 2) Select the backup options 2.2. Workstation Installation of VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Workstation Version 1) Insert VisiMix CD in your CD drive; 2) Select: Install VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 NET Workstation setup. Follow the prompts. Running To run the software from the server or workstation, first make sure that NetHASP plug is connected, "HASP License Manager is "on" and then click on "VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network" icon. The plug must remain inside as long as you run VisiMix.

5 5 To remove VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 Network Version and all of its components from your hard disk, select Start - Programs, and use the appropriate Uninstall option in the VisiMix 2K7 folder. To remove HASP License Manger, select "Add or remove programs" in Control Panel. Documentation VisiMix Turbulent 2K7 documentation is contained on this CD.
