1 High Tech with a Human Touch & Huntsville Site Dear Colleague, I would like to introduce you to Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) and its Huntsville, AL and, AL sites, if you re not yet familiar with Florida Tech. Our university offers a variety of Master s degrees for those professionals who desire to enhance their professional capabilities, but cannot afford to interrupt their careers to pursue such education. For those individuals, Florida Tech has the solution. By offering its degree programs after-hours (i.e., 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm weekdays), Florida Tech allows the working professionals to pursue and to complete successfully the degree programs of their choice (see enclosed one-page flyer attachment for degree programs available). Courses meet once per week for a 16-week semester (11 weeks in Summer; 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm). Our staff (24+ adjunct faculty; 5 administrative personnel) are readily available to assist you. Almost all of the programs may also be taken via on-line Distance Learning, as desired (exception: M.B.A.). Registration for Summer 2014 semester begins 03 Mar 2014 with new classes beginning the week of 12 May Cost per course (3 semester hours) is $ and financial aid is available (e.g., VA benefits [Yellow Ribbon, Chapter 33, etc.] for qualified applicants. Since 1976 Florida Tech has been serving the Huntsville locale (including ) and has awarded here over 4,000 degrees, to date. 2 RANKINGS & ACCOLADES Florida Tech is ranked as a Tier One Best National University by U.S. News & World Report in its 2013 edition of Best Colleges. The current College Salary Report ranks Florida Tech graduates mid-career median salaries in first place among Florida universities. Other national universities with salaries for graduates similar to Florida Tech s include Columbia, Yale, Brown, and Johns Hopkins. Bloomberg Business Week has named the university Best College for Return on Investment in Florida. Florida Tech is one of 135 institutions The Princeton Review recommends in its Best in the Southeast section of its website feature, 2013 Best Colleges: Region by Region. In 2011, Parade Magazine chose Florida Tech for its College A- List in Engineering, one of only 25 such schools to earn this distinction.
