2 The name Lanterne Rouge has several meanings The original meaning was the Red Lantern hanging on the back of a train carriage, this way the driver of the train could look back when turning to see that he had not lost the last wagon. Secondly it has been used for naming the last bicycle rider to cross the finish line. This list is actually saved and remembered just as well as the guys finishing first. So why the name? - Because it is not always about coming in first, but also about enjoying the ride, taking it a little easier than the rest, and having time to enjoy the scenery - which in this historic street of Copenhagen is quite lovely. 6 Our Recommendations for wine to go with your lunch If your choice is the striploin steak-sandwich the Moulin De Gassac would be a great match, the tannins matches the tender meat Are you going fishing after Moules-Frittes?! Then all whites are a go! But our choice falls on either a glas of Champagne or the Remage Blanc Goats are awesome animals, and hence for the Chevré Chaud we are proposing an awesome wine - The Reméage Blanc from Vin des France is an excellent choice. Or why not try a nice chilling glas of freshly squeezed organic Lemonade for the thirst quencher

But since your choice fell on our lovely day fresh mussels might we suggest a glas of Champagne Jean Vessele Brut Res. - Or if your not feeling bubbly tonight the Paralléle 45 blanc or Remage blanc is a go!
