4 We have a small strategic server room in Guernsey but with overall management from the UK. We needed a service provider that could deliver more than 24/7 real-time alerts. The Spook support team have proven a valuable partnership Service Introduction Prevention is better than cure! The average server room remains unoccupied for more than 70% of the time. Monitor key environmental conditions within your server rooms and take action before an event escalates into a potential disaster. The Spook Service ensures you are contacted for all critical alerts and are provided with key audit reports and data. 6 The Spook Support team contacted Premium Choice staff to ensure they were in safe receipt of the alerts and to offer advice. Premium Choice were able to control the situation by remotely shutting down non essential servers; whilst maintenance contractors were called. Automated alarms are sent in real time via and SMS. All critical alerts are supported by a call from a member of the Spook Support team 24/7 In addition to the automated alarms a member of the Spook Support team will contact you directly, in-line with your pre-defined escalation procedures, to ensure you are in safe receipt of the alerts.
7 It was only when Spook Support contacted us regarding the missing Spook heart beat that we realised our mail server was down Heartbeat notifications Service Introduction To ensure system integrity, our secure hosted servers are programmed to receive heartbeats from all Spook clients at regular intervals throughout the day. 9 We are able to review via audit trail each incident. This allows us to look at trends or offer this as supportive evidence when suppliers investigate the problems Incident reports for critical alerts Service Introduction Your incident report will be ed to you following any critical alerts. 10 UK based Spook Support team 24/7 Service Introduction Our clients benefit from the highest level of support from our dedicated team 24/7. Spook Support telephoned our 24 hour security desk to let them know we had a water alarm on Sunday morning. Water had been detected from the factory area adjacent to the IT room. We were able to identify the issue and to ensure it did not impact the IT area. Spook Support called again during our call out to offer support. We are pleased we installed Spook to monitor the environment of our computer room
