YOU Choose Your COVERAGE * Booking COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW) CDW is an optional coverage that partially releases you of the economic responsibility of damages to the Avis vehicle by collision or an act of vandalism. If you accept this coverage, you are only responsible for the payment of the non-waiver amount. If you reject this coverage, you will be responsible for the repair expenses of the vehicle. Super C.D.W. deductible for damages to the vehicle done by a collision This option means you will be eligible for a reduced liability that cannot be waived. This coverage lowers your responsibility for payment arising from collision damage caused to the vehicle or part thereof. THEFT PROTECTION (TP) TP is an optional coverage that partially releases you of the economic responsibility of total or partial loss of the Avis vehicle due to theft. If you accept this coverage, you will only be responsible for the payment of a non-waiver amount. If you reject the coverage, you will be responsible for the replacement cost of the vehicle. Super TP deductible by the robbery or theft of the vehicle This option means you will be eligible for a reduced liability that cannot be waived. This coverage lowers your responsibility for payment arising from the theft of a vehicle or part thereof. P.A.I. Personal Accident Insurance Should you have an accident during the rental as a driver or passenger, this option covers accidental death, some medical expenses, and assistance and rescue. If you already have insurance you may not need this; please inquire at time of rental. SUPER P.A.I. Increases for Personal Accident Insurance This provides a higher level of personal accident coverage that includes personal effects, baggage and other expenses. Inclusive Rates Avis offers rates inclusive of Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP). Baby or child seats Keep your children safe by adding baby or child seats to your rental. With a variety of options, you can find the seat that s correct for your child s age and size. If your trip includes taking advantage of Europe s winter fun, you ll need a ski rack to hold all your equipment. Add one to your rental for easy traveling. Snow chains When traveling during the winter season, you can have snow chains attached to your rental vehicle to add traction during icy and snowy conditions. 9 DRIVING REQUIREMENTS AVIS EXCLUSIVE SERVICES PREPARation Minimum Age / UNDer Age Fee Avis requires that you and any additional drivers meet the Avis minimum age requirement. Requirements and fees vary by country. Driver s License Avis requires that you and any additional drivers have an acceptable driving record, and present a valid driver s license. The license must be valid at time of rental and remain valid throughout the rental period. International Driver s License AVIS PERSONALLY YOURS EUROPEAN DRIVING ITINERARIES Choose from more than 20 free and unique European itineraries that feature distinctive historic landmarks, scenic highlights and cultural points of interest. AVIS KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Have questions about your upcoming European trip? This complimentary service provides 24/7 information regarding topics like currency exchange, driver s license requirements and answers to other questions you may have. PREPARation Avis strongly recommends you and any additional drivers possess an international driver s license along with your driver s license of your country of origin; an international driver s license can be purchased at any local AAA office in the United States for a fee. At some locations, your keys will be waiting for you in your vehicle. AVIS 3-MINUTE PROMISE As a member of Avis Preferred, when you rent at participating locations in Europe you will receive a retail voucher valued up to $45 if you do not receive your keys within three minutes. We ve taken the hassle out of refueling by offering three simple ways to refuel. Choose the option below that best fits your needs. Fuel Up Front Buy a full tank of gas, at prices no higher than local petrol stations, ahead of your rental. You ll save both time and money. Pay On Return If you don t have time to refuel before returning your vehicle, we ll handle it with Pay On Return. Simply pay for the litres of fuel you use plus a service charge. Instead of going to the counter or waiting in line to return your vehicle, an Avis representative will meet you at your car. With our handheld computerized return system, your transaction record will be printed in seconds. If you realize that you have left a personal item behind, call the Avis location where you dropped off your car as soon as possible. You can find the phone number easily on your rental agreement.
