1 One Blue Hill Plaza, 16 th Floor, PO Box 1546 Pearl River, NY PC-AMERICA, (Voice) (Fax) Setting up Credit Card/Debit Card Processing with Chase Paymentech US CUSTOMERS The following documentation will provide instructions for configuring Chase Paymentech to process credit and debit cards with CRE/RPE in a (US) retail or quick service environment. Be sure that your merchant information is present so that the integration can be completed. You can receive your information directly from Chase Paymentech. Note: To use Chase Paymentech / NetConnect you must be using version 12.0 or above. 1
2 Overview of this document When using Chase Paymentech / NetConnect in a (US) retail/quick service environment the transactions are processed via Host Capture. Host Capture is when all transaction information is saved by the processor, but still allows user to send a settlement command. When using Chase Paymentech / NetConnect in a (US) fine-dining with table service environment the transactions are processed via Terminal Capture. Terminal Capture is when all transaction information is saved within the station the transaction was processed on. This allows the user to add tip before settling (Tip Line must be enabled). o If you are using RPE using Tips, please use this document: Configuring Tips To ensure Chase Paymentech processes correctly within CRE/RPE, you will need to install the latest SDK Installation files, depending on whether your computer is 32Bit or 64Bit. You can download and unzip these SDK files here: For Windows 32-bit Operating Systems: For Windows 64-bit Operating Systems: For instructions on configuring other payment types offered by chase in a retail / quick service environment please see below: EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) o Gift Card o When your download finishes, please follow the rest of this documentation on how to Install the Chase SDK 6.8.0, Installing a pinpad to process Debit Card transactions, as well as Configuring Chase to process Credit and Debit cards within CRE/RPE.
