As the leading global advisor to buyers of complex strategic sourcing solutions, TPI is both a participant in and shaper of this marketplace. The SIC is a unique opportunity for TPI to share with the supplier community its observations and directions as well as to hear from this community on topics of mutual interest and benefit to our clients. In this years conference we will explore topics covering industry direction, TPI s Innovation Agenda and its ramifications in our engagements, service management and governance developments, mechanisms for optimising the transaction process and the evolving role of the sourcing advisor in this process. 4 Service Management & Governance: Collaborating Before, During and After the Transaction Presenter Shawn McCray 1:30 2:30 Shawn s session will provide an overview of TPI s Service Management & Governance services for clients. He will address how TPI and service providers can collaborate to prepare clients for governance activities that will occur post-contract and how TPI should work with service providers transition and account start-up teams to enhance the overall transition process. This session will focus on the mechanics, processes, and timing associated with Service Management & Governance and transition activities. Reducing Friction Points in Transactions to Provide Greater Client Value Facilitator: David Fleming TPI partner panel 2:30 3:30 Outsourcing transactions can be complex and can have many stakeholders, including the client project team, executive team, business units, internal customers and participating service providers and sourcing advisors. David will facilitate a discussion among attendees to identify friction points in transaction processes, structures, negotiations and relationships. SIC attendees will discuss how those friction points can be mitigated or eliminated to provide greater value to the various stakeholders. 3:30-4:00 Break and Networking 4:00 4:45 The Evolving Role of an Advisor Presenter: Duncan Aitchison Duncan will discuss the changing dynamics in the marketplace between the various participants in the maturing sourcing and service delivery processes the client, the service providers, the market analysts, the law firms and the advisors. He will focus on TPI s view of the role and obligations of the advisor in navigating this complex environment and facilitating effective and efficient engagements and transactions.
