2 Case Study: Online Marketing of Jewelry Products using MS.Net A US-based B2C firm in jewelry industry wanted to market its jewelry products to increase the sale of items as well as diamonds. The old system of jewelry selling was obsolete. There was no proper online way of shopping such jewelry items. There was no site through which the client could market its products and increase sales. To help improve the clients selling for items as well as for diamond, Rigel has implemented more affiliate marketing programs with Google, Bing, Amazon and Link Share. For all this marketing a data feed file was generated. For Amazon marketing Rigel has involved with feed discussion, analysis and implementation from Amazon. We converted b2c jewels items to Amazon items, means now b2c items were re-defined according to Amazon items like item size unit, diamond carat weight unit, description words, search words etc. We also generated B2C exclusive diamonds certification from html page to jpg image. We implemented solution, such that, customers can have their discount on the checkout. These promo codes are distributed to the registered customers through . It allows user to download on daily basis on predefined time. Similarly other marketing programs were implemented for the client. We used SQL Server 2008, Jquery, Javascript, HTML, and AJAX, Google checkout, FedEx, ABC.PDF 6, Image Magick, and.net Framework 3.5,.Net Web Services etc. technologies for this project. Client achieved more revenue from Amazon item selling. Client has now its own certification in the market to sell b2c exclusive diamonds. A large variety of services and products are now available online. A large customer base for the client. Now, the client s customer also happy with the promo code and saving their money. Customer is happy to get facility of automated diamond loading to the site.

3 Case Study: Customized CRM built to ease Operational Management One of our U.S. based clients from Healthcare industry was using obsolete technology for their organization. Due to primordial technology it has many limitations like web access mobility, digital signature, photo capture integration. MS Access (As Database) was not sufficient to store the data as per the requirement and the application was not having the features like digital signature of the patient, web access, photo capture integration. Due to obsolete technology all the patients have to come to the office and have to fulfill the form formalities which was the major challenge for the organization, because it is not feasible for all the patients to come to the hospital. Our CRM geeks have built the customized CRM with flavored features like inbuilt photo capturing feature, mobility of MS CRM, integrated with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for our client. Client was using Microsoft Excel for their organization and they have to enter all the information manually in the system which was time consuming, lengthy and repetitive. In Microsoft Excel all the transactions and invoices they have to enter it manually, which results into delay of services, customer dissatisfaction, and high chances of wrong calculation of interest which will result into monetary loss. We have provided our MS GP Solution to this client. Our MS GP System was fully functioned and it was designed and integrated in such a way that has solved all the problems of this client and make the organization more profitable. Our client was using an on-premise system from Microsoft in a distributed architecture with server in each location. Microsoft SharePoint 2007 was used as the corporate collaboration platform. Our client was keenly aware that continuously adding servers and sending large files around the network did not provide the flexibility and efficiency needed for the business strategy, and adopting cloud computing might be the solution. It was also difficult, time consuming and expensive to handle existing servers. Our Cloud experts have migrated from Microsoft SharePoint 2007 to Microsoft Office 365. Online Timesheet, hourly based payment calculation, User Role Management, Performance Tracker, Live updates on software tasks, online leave tracker and customized report features were lacking in the existing system. We have built new intranet for this client and added below mentioned features: Centralized Online Time Tracker Automated Payment Calculation Tool Live Dashboard for Tasks Online Leave Tracker Customized Reports User Role Management Online Performance Tracker Online Timesheet - this feature has helped team managers and higher management to monitor the performance of the respective team members. Since client receives the information promptly they can send the invoice to their client on time. Automated Calculation of the payment this feature allows client to configure up to three employee types that follow different sets of rules from the rules engine.(i.e. hourly, salaried,, temp, etc.) Both offers thirty editable pay categories (for instance, 5 work, 5 time off and 5 extra pay). User Role Management now client can move any employee internally as per the process requirement and also assign the task accordingly. This feature has also helped higher management to check the performance of each employee in different processes. Online Performance Tracker This feature will provide customized information to the client like total # of hours, total # of tasks completed, total # of bugs found and resolved. This feature help the clients to coach the employees on time and effectively. Client can track whether the employees are able to meet their targets and that too within deadline.

8 Live updates on tasks live updates on task will help the client to check and make sure whether all the tasks are completed on time or not. This will also be helpful to the client in meeting client and provide them correct and live information. Customized Reports Customized integrated reports will help the client in payroll formats and QuickBooks, eliminating the need for manual calculations. Online Leave Tracker By using Online Leave Tracker, employees can send leave forms online and also can check the remaining leaves in their accounts. After applying for leaves, team manager can approve it or disapprove it according to the need of the organization. Employee will get the notification of the approval or disapproval of the leaves. 9 Case Study: Paperless Meeting Solution for a Company s Business One of our Australia based clients from mobilized IT industry wanted to build new secured online meeting application for their business. They wanted us to build this on Cloud Technology. As the client is from IT industry, for them data security and data security sharing is the high priority for their organization. For online meeting they wanted us to build an application for ipad and web application. Rigel Networks provided a secure paperless meeting solution that allows to easily setup important meetings whilst securely distributing the necessary documents for attendees to review and annotate. The application provided all the web-based administration tools required to eliminate the headaches of preparing and managing important meetings. Designed especially for the Apple ipad, the app enabled users to browse their meeting schedule, agenda, associated documents and the ability to annotate these with unparalleled ease and security. The meeting organizers can then delete these documents and all meeting content at a set time and date. We used Windows Azure cloud based platform to build this application. Features: Cloud based online meeting application for ipad. Secured data sharing using AES and RSA method (For Encryption). Invitee management. Self-destruction of the data after meeting. Pre-meeting document sharing. Review and Preview of the document with specific rights. Reference document sharing. Sync with . Pdf editing feature. We used Chilkat for encryption, iannotate API for annotating the meeting documents, Kal Library for calendar as IOS does not have a native calendar control in development, ASIHTTP Request for downloading files in an asynchronous manner, AES and RSA Type for Encryption as 3rd party tool, MS.Net 4.0, SQL Server 2008 for data manipulation, AJAX, Entity Model, C#.Net and Telerik as technologies for this project.

10 As the data is encrypted no one can access it from outside or misuse it. User friendly interface and document annotation tools. Document editing (pdf editing) option will help the invitee to share their feedbacks and send it back to the host. Self-destruction feature will destroy all the invitee s data after the meeting gets end. sync this feature helps the client to see multiple meeting with one log-in. Reference Document Sharing apart from specific documents which were sent to the client, they can have generic document sharing in the meeting which can be accessed by all the users. Invitee Management host can send specific documents to specific invitee with eligible rights. The application requires zero hardware or expensive server based infrastructure on customer premise.
