3 How the InTechnology Managed Exchange Service works 1 Our experienced consultants work with the customer to understand their issues and requirements, carry out a project definition workshop and develop the migration plan. 2 End users mailboxes are migrated from existing mail server to an InTechnology hosted and managed Exchange 2003 server. The hosted Exchange server(s) and Domain Controller(s) are dedicated and located on their own PVLAN. 3 InTechnology manages all backup functions of the Exchange 2003 server. This includes replication and backup to a secondary storage device in a geographically diverse data centre. 4 The customer retains control of user mailboxes administration. 5 InTechnology owns and manages storage group restores, all storage management, full Exchange server recovery and proactive Exchange and infrastructure management and monitoring. 6 Outlook Web Access is enabled for remote users to allow remote access. 7 al services: Archiving, mobile messaging
