1 MusicDIRECTOR Manual NEW RELEASES Let s get inspired by randomly selected suggestions of new music on MusicDIRECTOR or you can use advanced search. GENRES Flip through our musical genres, consisting of more than 40 genres. LABELS This shows an overview of all our lables. Search by label and rank them on suitability by giving them hearts. SEARCH You can quickly search by using one or more search keywords. Use the arrow to unfold and you can extend your search by track title, track desciption, componists, CD title, CD description, CD code or name of the label. MY PLAYLIST This shows an overveiuw of your actual active playlists and other playlist with lots of possibilities to exchange, edit, export and import items. RECENTLY PLAYED Which was the track I just listened to and how did it sound? You can find here an overview of your latest tracks you listened to. MUSIC CALCULATOR This feature enables you to generate an indication of the licensing costs. Therefore vital for your proposals. CD COVER Click on a CD cover and it will show the CD s tracks. You can listen to or download them right away. MUSIC PLAYER Listen to your favorite selection, CD, label or catgory while working. If you want to save one just add it to one of your projects or download it for further usage. CUESHEET GENERATOR You can fill in your cuesheets automatically or manually online. Just click, fill it in, send and done! Update your logbook with relevant information of the track. FILTER RESULTS You can easily use filters such as favorite labels, categories, own keywords, suggestions and duration for your search results.

2 NEW MUSICDIRECTOR MusicDIRECTOR is renewed. The website got a clear and cool layout. You will find features you know already as well as new features which will help you even better in using our music. Some of them will be explained below. The player shows the composition of the track. You will see right away if the track reaches a climax, which will save you time in finding the most suitable track. LOOP Select a part of the track or the entire track and the player will play it over and over again. SHARE Sharing tracks is now very easy on MusicDIRECTOR. Select the part or the entire track by dubble clicking, press share and you will see the different option in order to share it. DOWNLOAD Via this button you can download just a selection of the track. This way, you do not have to download the whole track, which saves you some space. DOWNLOAD AS MP3/WAV/AIFF From now on you can indicate which format of the track you want to download. Next to mp3 you might also want to choose for higher quality formats such as wav or aiff. SEARCH RESULTS Of course, you are already convient with finding the most suitable tracks for your search. This can be found at best results. However, there is more. Have a look at: new, favorites, popular and random. New shows only very actual tracks, whereas favorite consists of tracks ranked by your favorite labels. You can read about it in the manual. Popular shows the tracks which are played the most by MusicDIRECTOR users. Random gives you the possibility to shuffle throughout your search results.

3 ALTERNATIVE TRACK VERSIONS Whenever there are different versions of one track in a CD, they will be displayed together. Therefore, you have a quick overview of the different possibilities. Furthermore, if stems are used, this will also be indicated. LOVE THE LABEL From now on you are able to rank your labels by giving them 1 to 5 hearts (5= best). You can do that for each label via the page labels. The one with the most hearts will be displayed first in your favorite search results.

4 PLAYLISTS Probably you knew already that we share music by projects with different music professionals on MusicDIRECTOR. However, from now on it is even easier for you to work with your playlists. They are displayed next to your search results, so you can easily drag tracks into your selected playlist. Furthermore, you can easily share your playlists by sending a link to your colleague of client or even share them via social media. This way they can also listen to your selected music tracks. Out of inspiration? Have a look at playlist. You will find an overview of playlists created by MusicDIRECTOR. They consist of a broad spectrum of music. It saves you time not to run through all our tracks.
