10 Key Examples Global Fund Partnership Our partnership with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, announced in early 2008, is enabling us to make a difference in the health of our communities, including our Supply Chain. Our $30 million contribution is being allocated over three years and divided into $5 million allotments to grant recipients in Angola, Indonesia, Nigeria, the Philippines, South Africa and Thailand Chevron Corporation 10
11 Key Examples Global Fund - Philippines Tropical Disease Foundation The Philippines is ranked 9th of 22 high- burden countries for tuberculosis. The program has a national scope, focusing on the urban and rural poor, multi-drug resistant t patients t and HIV/TB patients. One of the objectives focuses in particular on Metro-Manila Chevron Corporation 11
12 Key Examples Global Fund - Nigeria National Agency for the Control of AIDS The program aims to scale up provision of antiretroviral treatment and related services such as counseling and testing, prevention of mother to child transmission and community care. It ensures that a comprehensive package of HIV/AIDS treatment, care and support is available in all parts of the country. The program is national in scope and includes our Supply Chain Chevron Corporation 12
