B Y C A R R O U T E D E S C R I P T I O N a.) coming from Karlsruhe / München / Stuttgart Flughafen / Singen (via Autobahn) : Coming on Autobahn A8, switch to A81 at the Leonberger Dreieck towards Heilbronn (facing North) and exit the Autobahn at the Ludwigsburg Süd exit. Then drive towards the city center ( Stadtmitte ), at the second traffic light (Mann&Hummel/Auto-Haas Renault) take a left into Schlieffenstraße, then take a right at the second intersection into Mörikestraße. You will find the Hotel Mörike after about 100 meters (330 ft.) on the left hand side. b.) coming from Heilbronn (via Autobahn) : Drive down Autobahn A81 towards Stuttgart (facing South) and exit the Autobahn at the Ludwigsburg Süd exit. Then drive towards the city center ( Stadtmitte ), at the second traffic light (Mann&Hummel/Auto- Haas Renault) take a left into Schlieffenstraße, then take a right at the second intersection into Mörikestraße. You will find the Hotel Mörike after about 100 meters (330 ft.) on the left hand side. c.) coming from Stuttgart / Remstal / Esslingen (via Federal Roads) : Drive on the B27 towards Ludwigsburg. At the second intersection (on the left hand side is a Shell gas station, on the right hand side is the Arbeitsamt ), turn into Friedrichstraße. Drive straight ahead onto Schwieberdinger Straße until you come to an intersection with Mann&Hummel / Auto-Haas Renault. Take a right onto Schlieffenstraße. Take a right at the second intersection into Mörikestraße. You will find the Hotel Mörike after about 100 meters (330 ft.) on the left hand side. 2.) B Y A I R P L A N E a.) arriving at the Munich airport TAXI : As is mentioned in Answer sheet concerning pick-up necessity from either the airport or the train station, pick up is available at the Munich Airport. Duration: 2-3 hours. TRAIN : Take the S-Bahn to the Munich train station. B Y T R A I N TAXI : As is mentioned in Answer sheet concerning pick-up necessity from either the airport or the train station, pick up is available at the Stuttgart Airport. Duration: minutes. TRAIN : Take either S2 toward Backnang or S3 toward Waiblingen. Get off at Stuttgart Schwabstraße. Now either take S5 toward Bietigheim or S4 toward Marbach and get off at Ludwigsburg Hauptbahnhof. a.) Arriving at the Stuttgart Train Station TAXI : As is mentioned in Answer sheet concerning pick-up necessity from either the airport or the train station, pick up is available at the Stuttgart Train Station. Duration: 30 minutes. TRAIN : Take either S5 toward Bietigheim or S4 toward Marbach. Get off at Ludwigsburg Hauptbahnhof. The S-Bahn Trains leave downstairs at the Stuttgart Train Station! Another option is to find a train which heads toward Bietigheim and Heilbronn and to get off at Ludwigsburg Hauptbahnhof. b.) Arriving at the Ludwigsburg Train Station by FOOT : Leave the train station through the West exit (toward ARENA) and you arrive in Pflugfelder Straße. Turn right and cross Hoferstraße (traffic lights). Now you are in Schlachthofstraße ; follow it. Cross Martin- Luther-Straße at the traffic lights. Now you are in Mörikestraße. Distance: 1.6 km (1 mile). Duration: 20 minutes. TAXI : There are several taxis available in front of the train station. The cost is approx. 10,00. Duration is minutes. BUS : There is a bus station right in front of the train station. Buses 430, 433, 508, 533 and 534 drive to the Hotel Mörike. Get off at Jenischstraße. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
