1 HOW TO GET TO THE CITY CENTRE By train: Take the trains from Vienna Airport platform 1 or 2 to Wien Mitte/Landstraße. From there you can take Underground U3 or U4 to reach any other destination. There are ticket machines on the platform. Avoid the CAT (green train) because it is more expensive (10-15 instead of 4 by talking the normal white-blue train, see table and link below). The following table gives a summary of the S-Bahn timetable between Wien Mitte and Vienna Airport. The 3 Vienna Airport Lines routes serve all of Vienna's underground railway lines and also "Wien West" and "Wien Meidling" railway stations.
