1 Winterline Global Skills Program Itinerary: Orientation: Preparing Ourselves for the Coming Year Sept 5 26, 2015 Estes Park, Colorado & Wind River Mountains, Wyoming; USA The Global Skills Program Orientation in Estes Park lays the foundation for the rest of the year. This will include: introductions and team-building creating a positive and safe culture basic training on our tech platform program logistics and preparation emergency preparedness During our Rocky Mountain Wilderness Training in Wyoming, we will be working with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), working on skills that we will need to have during the rest of our time. Staff will help students carry out project planning and execution. Projects will take advantage of the many reputable organizations in the region that teach skills such as: language acquisition, ecology and environmental science, education, sustainable development, ecotourism, and international business. Skills will include: Problem-solving, project planning, independent travel, etiquette, money management, ecology, language study, sustainability, skill of student s choosing

Each of us develops a project proposal that includes goals, a plan, a budget, and logistics. Once approved by the mentors, we will spend the week completing our project and will document it to share on-line and with the group.
