5 BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT From entrepreneur with values to management with criteria The program enables students to gain understanding of different areas of business (economics, finance and accountancy, management and marketing), and other more general fields such as oral and written communication, English, ethics and IT. Students will also be able to apply their acquired knowledge to practical situations. The program, moreover, enables them to develop a series of cross-disciplinary skills such as analysis and synthesis, problem-solving, critical thought and capacity for teamwork. Official Masters: After completing the undergraduate students can undertake the following official Masters European Higher Education Area programs: * Masters in Global Entrepreneurship and Management (in English): Providing university graduates from business studies and economics with training and practical experience in global markets, which will enable them to take a company management and a direction post in organizations in the international market. The Master is provided jointly with the University of San Francisco (USA) and the Fu Jen University in Taipei (Taiwan) and represents a unique experience in the sphere of global markets. For 12 months, students will be involved in a living and interacting experience in the three geographic settings (Barcelona in Europe, Taipei in Asia and San Francisco in the USA) ( * Masters in International Marketing and Sales Management (in English): Gaining specialist training in the field of international marketing and business management, which enables the students to act in the complex and dynamic world of today s international business and at the same time, complete their education abroad ( * Masters in Research in Economics and Business: Gaining the research skills that will enable students to undertake investigative work, individually and independently, in economics and in the management and running of organizations, and to begin Doctoral studies ( Professional opportunities * Business administration and management. * Management of functional areas such as production, human resources, sales, finance, etc. * Strategic and financial consultancy. * Marketing. * Financial and systems auditing. * Consultancy and quality management. * Human Resources consultancy. * Project evaluation. * Public administration and not-for-profit entities. * Market research. * Logistics and purchasing. * Finance institutions. * Export and import.

6 Admissions application * Candidates must meet all requirements for undertaking university studies in Spain and go through the formal IQS application procedure. In addition, if you study in IQS you will be able to: * Have access to software licenses, use facilities equipped with WiFi and have access to e-learning tools needed for each subject from your computer, all of which is included in the registration fee. * Have access to the Library, Documentation Center Multimedia Ernest Solvay, with access to document collections and databases of all university libraries in Catalonia. * Have a Career Services to help training experiences in companies or industries for the degree requirements and finding your first job after graduation. * Access to the various grants to study at IQS: -- Grants to Academic Excellence: targeted to students with high university entrance scores. -- General Scholarships IQS: award criteria based on the economic situation of the student. -- Additionally, you can apply for scholarships offered by the Ministry for university students. * Apply for a loan to pay the registration fee, using agreed preferential with companies and savings banks for IQS students. IQS can help students with good academic performance to apply for honor credits at those institutions.
