3 Hot Folders You can use Hot Folders to submit jobs. Simply drag and drop your jobs into the appropriate Hot Folder and when the system detects an available printer matching the job properties printing begins automatically. You can pool as many printers as you like to ensure maximum printer utilization Quicksets With Quicksets, you can define and save typical processes and assign them to an image before printing; the settings will be applied automatically. Set attributes such as cropping, tiling and sizing; and select media type, ink configuration, resolution and color management filters. Archive Save time by using the Package Job feature. It works as a job archiving tool and saves your image information along with all processing data and job settings, giving you the ability to reprint a job immediately without having to make any modifications. You can interactively size, crop and rotate images, and preview the actual color on-screen before you print to avoid costly reprints. Use the easy slider and curve tools to change the brightness, saturation and contrast for the image globally or for individual mid-tones and shadows. View up to four color filters at once to compare changes, or select a specific color (or a range of colors) and replace it with another to refine even the most difficult prints all without touching the original file. Web portal for job queue and job submission Manage your print jobs from any computer on your network via a web browser. You can also submit jobs from a Mac, PC, or Unix-based compatible web browser on your network. Optimal nesting and tiling Automatic nesting, with rotation, helps you to save print time and reduce media waste by up to 65 percent. 4 Outstanding color accuracy and consistency ONYX color science and proprietary color engine ONYX Graphics developed its own color engine Color Matching Module (CMM) primarily to address specific color and profiling issues unique to large-format inkjet printing technologies and applications. The ONYX CMM can overcome specific challenges in solvent and UV ink printing such as heater settings, shiny untreated vinyls and printing on non-white surfaces. It helps you set customer expectations before printing and avoid frustration and costly reprints. The gamut report shows the delta E for each PANTONE color. ONYX Media Manager Dramatically reduce the time and effort needed to calibrate, create, and edit color profile media. The wizard-driven application walks you through each step of the process and includes visual tools that make each step faster. It also includes a new profile grading system that helps you pick the right profile for your print application. This tool can rate and compare all of the installed media profiles, taking the guesswork out of which profiles are best suited for a given application. A delta E < 2 shows there will be no color difference. A delta E < 5 can predict slight differences but is usually considered a sellable color.
