8 Maintenance Group Contracting Opportunities The Meter/Maintenance Groups handle emergency pipe repair contracts. We encourage minority participation on these contracts. Tasks such as: Excavation and paving Flagging, traffic control, attenuator towing Spoil debris hauling Site clean up and restoration Sediment control installation, maintenance and removal Site perimeter fencing and job site signage Sewer over pumping or bypass systems The above would be good partnership possibilities for SLBE/MBE vendors
9 Maintenance Group Contracting Opportunities Due to the nature of emergency work the jobs and total dollar value vary greatly from year to year. Over the last several years the Customer Care Team has averaged more than $10 million a year in emergency contract work.

17 Wastewater Collection System Group Consent Decree Requirements Under the Consent Decree to eliminate Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSO), the Commission is required to: Perform Sewer Studies (SSES) in nine (9) sewer basins Flow Monitoring Internal Pipeline inspections Manhole Inspections Smoke Testing Basin Improvement Recommendations Implement a Proactive & Preventative Maintenance Program which includes: Televising approximately 1,120 miles of sewers 12 and smaller Cleaning approximately 2,500 miles of sewers 12 and smaller Chemical Root Control Implement a Trunk Sewer Inspection which includes: Inspecting manholes and video lamping 625 miles of sewers 15 and larger Collecting X and Y coordinates (using GPS) for all manholes Performing dye test of all pipes exposed in streams Perform Continuous Sewer Flow Monitoring:
