7 ORIGINAL SCOPE of CERTIFICATION - Technical assistance Environmental Agency - Information system (web application) for organization of certification process, evidence of exam applications, database of exam results, complete central database - Web page including information system, help desk, database of certified personnel - Evaluation body selection of organizations by Env. Agency - Certification body MoE - Access to the IS - Authorised personnel of Env. Agency and of MoE - Authorised personnel of evaluation body + examiners - Applicants for certificate - Fee payment by applicants to Env. Agency

Certification contemporary situation EU F-gas regulation F-gas only - 4 areas of certificaton - refrigeration, A/C, heat pumps - 4 categories - Fire protection - High-voltage switchgears - Solvents - For each area special regulation setting concrete requirements for examination CZ legislation, Act F-gas, ODS a) according to the Regulation (EC) No 842/2006 F gases b) servicing of devices including ODS c) leakage check of cooling devices and airconditioners with ODSs d) leakage check of fire protection systems including ODS e) recovery of ODSs when recycling equipment or devices f) destruction of ODSs

10 EVALUATION BODY - Ministry of the Environment (MoE) called for requests by companies - Necessary documents: - corporate name, legal form, address and identification number (certificate of incorporation), - examination tests in all variations or complete list of the questions, - Complete list of instruments for the practical part of exam, including their photos and serial numbers, - example of document declaring successful exam pass, - list of board members, including their CVs, - Schedule of certification exam, - Information for applicants, schedule and test conditions, - Administrative fee (45 ). - All procedures and exams (theoretical and practical) must be in compliance with the requirements of EC Regulation. - Company authorized by the MoE

11 EVALUATION BODY List of evaluation bodies on MoE web page including their authorization - 2 EB for refrigeration, A/C, heat pumps - 1 EB for fire protection (originally 2 EB) - 1 EB for high-voltage switchgears Before exam - Each EB has its own system of exam organization published on their web page - EB provides example of exam - Usually training course is offered too (not mandatory) - Administrative fee per person differs: / refrigeration, A-C, heat pumps / Fire protection and high voltage switchgears - EB must inform MoE one month in advance about date and locality of exam After exam - EB prepares all documents to applicants of certification (more next slide) - EB provide to MoE information about persons which passed the exam

Agency - Due to changes lost connections - Communication problems - Author, responsible institution and administrator of information system now MoE
