ARRIVALS TO ARICA Airplane arrivals to Arica will be made through Chacalluta s International Airport, covered by LAN and SKY airlines. Delegations will be received by members of the organization and driven to the place of accommodation. IAAF/APA authorities, special guests and participant delegations will count with an attaché. This person will be responsible for all the programmed activities plus the one to concur in case of doubts and/or emergencies. For the ones who are seeking to shorten flight distances, there is the option to arrive in Tacna (Peru), about 50kms from Arica. Those who want to enter the country this way, shall notify in advance the Organizing Committee to provide a person receiving on arrival. The cost of transportation from Tacna to Arica is on every delegation. 7. ACCREDITATION Once the delegations arrive, its members must perform accreditation in the Information Center located in the hotel where they were staying. It will be done upon passport presentation. The hours will be from 9:00 to 20:00hrs.

8 8. ACCOMMODATION The official hotel of the event is Hotel Diego de Almagro. Delegations will stay from Thursday 7 to Monday 11 May, Hotel Diego de Almagro Raúl Pey Casado 3105 Tel Arica, Chile The organization will provide accommodation and meals as detailed below: ATHLETES OFFICIALS 1 to 4 athletes 1 official 5 to 8 athletes 2 officials 9 to 12 athletes 3 officials 13 to 16 athletes 4 officials 17 to 18 athletes 5 officials Delegations who exceed this number must pay the sum of USD $120 per person per day. They are considered officials for the purposes of this calculation delegates, coaches, doctors and physiotherapists. 9. FOOD SERVICES The Organizing Committee will provide food starting on arrival, including lunch on Thursday 7th until breakfast on Monday 11th May. The food will be offered at the hotel where they will be staying. The service will be offered at the following schedule: Breakfast 05:00 to 09:00 Lunch 12:00 to 14:00 Dinner 19:00 to 22:00

TRANSPORTATION From the airport to the hotel Upon arrival of the delegations, officials, guests IAAF / APA and international judges will be received by an attaché and taken in special vehicles to the place of accommodation and accreditation. From the hotel to the place of competition and back The delegations will have buses for transportation to the circuit. The IAAF / APA authorities, special guests and International Race-walking Judges will count with VIP vehicles for transportation to the site of the competition. From the hotel to the airport Team leaders must present on Friday 8th at the technical meeting the corresponding form in which shall be indicated the departing flight schedule of the delegation. The organization will place at the hotel a list with the airport transportation itinerary. 11. ENTRIES Preliminary Entries Entries must be sent by the National Federations before April 1th, 2015 (midnight local time Chile). Entries may be sent by electronic mail to the Organizing Committee (atletismoarica@gmail.com) with a copy to Mr. Rubén Aguilera, Technical Delegate (r-aguilera@uolsinectics.com.ar) and Prof. Víctor López, APA President (victorlopezpgp@gmail.com) using the preliminary entry form. Final Entries Final Entries must be sent by the National Federations before April 20th, 2015 (midnight local time Chile). Final Entries may be sent by electronic mail to the Organizing Committee (atletismoarica@gmail.com) with a copy to Mr. Rubén Aguilera, Technical Delegate (r-aguilera@uolsinectis.com.ar) and Prof. Víctor López, APA President (victorlopezpgp@gmail.com) using the final entry form. Individual Entries Individual entries are accepted.

10 Team Entries In the Senior Competition, four (4) athletes can compete per event scoring (3) three. In Junior Competition, three (3) athletes can compete per event scoring (2) two. 12. CATEGORIES Senior Only athletes with the starting age of 20 years old (age on December 31th 2015, till1995) can participate in the 20kms & 50kms Race-walking, both men and women. Junior Only athletes with 16, 17, 18 and 19 years old (age on December 31th 2015, born in 1996 till 1999) can participate in the 10kms Race-walking, both men and women. 13. SCORING SYSTEM * Each competition will be scored separately. * Three athletes will score in every Senior Event and two in every Junior Event. * The results of each team will be decided by the sum of the positions obtained by athletes that score. * The team with fewer points is the winner. * If a team fails to finish with the number of athletes that score, race walkers who finish will be considered for the individual classification of the test. * No adjustment is made in the final positions. * Teams that do not score or individual participants and any tie is resolved in favor of the team that has a rated better placed athlete. 14. TECHNICAL Circuit The circuit is 2kms (loop) and is located at Raúl Pey Avenue, Playa Chinchorro. It is fully asphalt and in good condition. In Annex 1 you will observe the plane of the circuit and its facilities.

11 Call Room It will be located on a site adjacent to the circuit. All athletes must promptly attend for verification accordingly. Athletes must respect IAAF Advertising Regulations regarding measurements, location of the name and logo of the clothing s manufacturer. Warming up Area Athletes will have a proper place for warming up before every competition. It will be located annexed to the circuit. Training Area For delegations requiring use of a training area, the Organizing Committee offers "Carlos Dittborn" Stadium. The schedule will be announced upon arrival. Visit to the competition circuit It will be held on Friday, May 8 at 10:00. There will be transportation available at 9:30 outside the hotel, for those who are making the visit. Each athlete will receive four numbers; two for the chest and back, one for the t-shirt and one for the competition bag. Uniforms All athletes must wear the official uniform and the colors of their country, according to IAAF Rule Athletes may deposit in a single sector competition bags before participation. Then they must collect their bags in the same place.

12 Starting line Each of the participating teams and individual athletes must be located in the starting line according to the order established in the Technical Meeting. Arrival Area Upon reaching the finishing line, athletes will be taken to the First Aid and Massage Area, where they can be treated by doctors of the organization if necessary. Mixed Zone The winners after visiting the First Aid and Massage Area will join the Mixed Zone. Winners will be introduced to briefly meet the reporters in the Interviews Zone. Each team will be given a special pass to this area and will allow one person per team to enter the Mixed Zone. Press Conference The top three of each competition will be taken to a press conference with local and national journalists. 15. TECHNICAL MEETING It will take place on Friday May 8 at 17:00 in Diego de Almagro Hotel. A maximum of two representatives per country may attend. The meeting will be conducted in Spanish and English. Questions for the meeting must be delivered to the Technical Information Center (TIC) at 12:00 on Friday May 8 at most. Only these questions, submitted on the official form that will be delivered at the time of arrival, will be answered at the meeting. Technical Meeting Agenda 1. Welcome 2. PROTESTS Protests regarding the results or development of competition can be submitted until 30 minutes after it was made known the results. The protest must be made with the appropriate form to the Jury of Appeal, in accordance with IAAF Rules and enclosing a deposit of $ DOPING CONTROL It shall be in accordance with the procedures of the IAAF rules under the supervision of a specialist (provided by the organization) and one of the IAAF/APA authorities or instead, the organization delegate. The selected athletes for doping control will be informed in writing and notified to deliver the samples. A team member may accompany the athlete to where the sample is performed. 18. MEDICAL SERVICES Medical Service at the Hotel In the place where the delegations will be staying, medical service will be available, giving medical assistance to athletes who need it. Medical Service at competition site There will also be medical assistance through two tents set up at the circuit, offering First Aid and Massage/rehabilitation. Medical Safety Along the circuit, there will be two ambulances for emergency care to athletes who require it. Medical staff will be properly identified for attention too. Doctors of delegations may be included within these areas to offer medical care for their own athletes.

14 19. CEREMONIES, AWARDS AND PROTOCOL Opening Ceremony The official opening ceremony will be on Friday, May 8 at 18:00. The ceremony will take place at the same site of competition in a symbolic act of parade of delegations represented by flag and chaired by a banner with the name of the participating countries. Awards Ceremony SATURDAY 9th Ceremony 20kms Men 9:10 10kms Women Junior 11:10 10kms Men Junior 15:50 20kms Women 17:40 SUNDAY 10th Ceremony 50kms Men 11:30 50kms Women (NACAC) 11:30 Individual medals (Gold, Silver & Bronze) For the first three places -Men and Women- of each competition. Team trophies For the first three teams in each competition. These will be celebrated at the Award & Closing Dinner on Sunday, 10 May, 19:00. The flag of the winning athlete will be hoisted at the moment of hearing the athlete's country anthem. For the awards ceremony, athletes must wear the official uniform of their country, in accordance with IAAF rules and regulations. Individual awards ceremonies will be made once the competition is finish and the results have been read by the official announcer of the championship.
