FAFSA years are by academic calendar, from the Fall semester (first number) to the Spring and Summer semesters (second number). If you filed a prior year s FAFSA, you can select FAFSA RENEWAL and it will Import information such as your address, phone number, tax filing status, etc. to the new application. Correct your FAFSA or look at your Student Aid Report. Apply Early! FAFSA FREE! If you forget your FAFSA PIN go to pin.ed.gov and request duplicate Applying for Federal Student Aid is FREE. Apply early to get the most aid possible. Your aid may take some time to process. You may be asked to submit additional documentation. MSUB s FAFSA priority filing deadline is March 1 st for the following Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
