There are licensed players are senior players over 20 years old, 967 are junior players younger than 20 years old, are female players, are male referees, 20 are female referees. Inline hockey is a part of the SIHA and there are licensed players (1 001 seniors, 763 juniors) who play inline hockey. Sweden have 302 indoor arenas and 144 outdoor rinks. The first modern indoor arena, Rosenlundshallen in Jönköping, was built in

6 THE TEAM SWEDEN MEDIA POLICY During the Olympic Games 2006, players and coaches will be available for media interviews at scheduled post-practice and post-game venues, it is requested that you advice Media Officer Mats Olsson of your needs. Practice sessions (non game days) during Olympic Games 2006: There will be an interview opportunity immediately following after the team practice each non-game day. Members of the coaching staff and several players will be available. As a rule players will not be available for pre-game interviews on game days. GENERAL All Team Sweden player and coaching staff interview requests must med made through the Team Sweden Media Officer Mats Olsson. He will be accompanying the team for the pre Olympic Games 2006games and the Olympic Games ON-SITE MEDIA INTERVIEWS Players and coaches will be available for interviews after practices and after games. Immediately following practices, and at the latest 10 minutes after the end of games, approximately 30 minutes will be allotted for media interviews, allowing the team to respects its schedule and its other commitments. There will be no personal interviews outside of these scheduled times, except during official press conferences and/or official functions. There is no access to the dressing room. All interviews, after practice and games, will be in a designated area at the arena. PHOTOGRAPHERS/CAMERAS During practices, access to the benches for photographers and cameras will be limited and only permitted if the bench isn t being used by the team and if access to the bench is possible from stands. Photographers, cameras and reporters are not allowed in the dressing room or in the dressing room area at any time. Check with Mats Olsson on site to confirm locations accessible to media
7 PHONE INTERVIEWS All out of town media requests must be directed to Mats Olsson. Due to the team s schedule, phone interviews will be limited. POST GAME INTERVIEWS The Head Coach, or an Assistant Coach, will be available for interviews after each game. Interviews with other players will take place in a designated Mixed Zone. Requests for players will be made through Mats Olsson at this Mixed Zone after the game. OFF DAYS Same policy are in place, with the media only able to interview the team after the practice.
