5 Arrow Data Center Green Initiatives Removing physical servers and implementing virtualized servers 198 less physical servers in the Data Center Reduced electrical usage by 1.6M kilowatt hours per year Electrical savings of approximately $170k per year (see footnote page 6) Removed 9 server racks from the Data Center Through use of virtualization we have been able to put off the need for additional CRAC units in the Data Center All new Windows based servers are blade technology and use less power when idling than their predecessors Replacing AC units with a new more energy efficient models. Current units year useful life Migrating to new disk technology that uses up to 33% less power than their predecessor models Implementing Power6 CPU standards - technology for server consolidation and virtualization, delivers more energy efficient performance

6 Data Center Green Initiatives Use of a 3 rd party recycling company for the disposal of all used servers, racks, printers and network equipment. Company holds the following certifications and partnerships: IDC Green Recycling and Asset Disposition for Enterprise (G.R.A.D.E.) Signatory of the Electronics Recycler s Pledge of True Stewardship ISO14001 Certified Environmental Management System

7 Green Initiatives Outside of the Data Center but Driven by IT Deployment of flat panel monitors (1): Replaced 6,000 CRT monitors with flat panel displays Resulting in approximately $200K savings per year Desktop Power Management (2): Deployed power management on approximately 6,000 desktops and laptops Resulting in approximately $92K of savings per year Combined initiatives reduced electrical usage by nearly 2M Kilowatt-hours per year which equates to 1,090 tons of carbon emissions Deployment of Multi-Functional Printers (3): Reduced number of physical printers by approximately 1,500 Reduced electrical usage by approximately 300K kilowatt hours per year Reduced green house gases by 3,800 tons annually Eliminated 6,000 tons of waste annually Reduced paper consumption by 16,488,000 sheets since 2005 (15%) Deployment of Telepresence Video Conferencing: 6 high definition implementations across 3 continents Integration with 83 traditional video conference units Travel reduction of approximately $2M annually
